二、知识点梳理。
(一)词汇
重点单词
*helpful:adj. 乐于助人的,如:She is a helpful girl.(她是个乐于助人的女孩。)
*caring:adj. 关心他人的,体贴的,a caring friend(体贴的朋友) 。
*trustworthy:adj. 值得信赖的,trustworthy friends(值得信赖的朋友) 。
*humorous:adj. 幽默的,名词形式为humour,美式英语中写作humor。如:He has a great sense of humour.(他很有幽默感。)
*cheerful:adj. 快乐的;高兴的,副词形式为cheerfully,名词形式为cheer。如:She has a cheerful smile.(她有一个快乐的笑容。)
词形变化
*friend(n. 朋友)- friendly(adj. 友好的)- friendship(n. 友谊)
*honest(adj. 诚实的)- dishonest(adj. 不诚实的),注意honest发音以元音音素开头,前面用an,如:an honest boy
重点短语
make friends:交朋友,如:I want to make friends with my new classmates.(我想和我的新同学交朋友。)
get along with:与……和睦相处,如:I get along well with my best friend.(我和我最好的朋友相处得很好。)

encourage sb. to do sth.:鼓励某人做某事,如:My teacher encourages me to study hard.(我的老师鼓励我努力学习。)
(二)句型
What do you think makes good friends :你认为什么造就了好朋友? 用于询问对方对某事的看法,回答时可参考课文中描述朋友品质的词汇,如:I think good friends should be kind, honest and helpful.(我认为好朋友应该善良、诚实且乐于助人。)
比较级和最高级
比较级:用于两者之间的比较,结构为 “比较级 + than”。例如:Max is taller than Betty.(马克斯比贝蒂高。)
最高级:用于三者或三者以上的比较,前面加the,结构为 “the + 最高级 + in/of”。例如:Max is the tallest boy in our class.(马克斯是我们班最高的男孩。)
不规则变化:good/well - better - best;bad/badly - worse - worst;many/much - more - most;little - less - least;far - farther/further - farthest/furthest
其他重点句型

(三)课文内容
Welcome to the unit:讨论好朋友应具备的品质,如善良(kind)、诚实(honest)、幽默(humorous)、体贴(caring)、值得信赖(trustworthy)等。
Reading:
Betty:善良、乐于助人,总是在公交车上给有需要的人让座,还经常帮助同学做功课;值得信赖,当作者有烦恼时会找她倾诉,她会认真倾听并理解作者,还知道如何让作者振作起来;她是一个苗条的女孩,有着明亮的大眼睛,头发比作者的长,常扎马尾辫。
Max:班里最高的男孩,几乎1.8米高,戴着小圆眼镜,看起来有点滑稽;很有幽默感,经常讲笑话逗大家笑,和他在一起永远不会无聊;精力充沛,通过运动和参加俱乐部活动保持活跃,从不疲倦;性格开朗,当作者想放弃困难任务时,他总是鼓励作者继续尝试。
Integration:通过“两个朋友和熊”的故事,让我们明白真正的朋友在危险时刻不会抛弃你。还学习了交友和与朋友相处的方法,如加入俱乐部(join a club)、主动与人交谈(start a conversation)、做一个好的倾听者(be a good listener)等 。
