Last summer, I went to a summer camp with my classmates. The camp was in a small village near a forest. It was my first time away from home for more than one night, and I was both excited and a little nervous. When we arrived, the camp leader, Mr. Brown, showed us around. There were several small cabins where we would sleep, a big dining hall, and a fire pit where we would sit at night.
On the first day, we learned how to put up tents. At first, I found it very hard. My tent kept falling down, but with the help of my friend Lucy, I finally managed to do it. It felt like a big achievement! In the afternoon, we went for a hike in the forest. Mr. Brown taught us about different trees and plants. He pointed out a tall oak tree that was over 100 years old, and a small plant with red berries that he said was poisonous. We all took notes in our notebooks, afraid to forget what he had told us.
The best part of the camp was the night activities. After dinner, we sat around the fire pit and sang songs. Some kids played guitars, and others told funny stories. One night, we even saw fireflies. They flew around the trees, flashing their little lights, and it looked like a magical scene. I had never seen fireflies before, and I felt so lucky to watch them.
On the last day, we had a big competition. We had to work in teams to build a shelter using only branches and leaves. My team worked together really well. I collected branches, Lucy tied them together with rope, and another classmate, Tom, added leaves to make the roof. Our shelter was not the biggest, but Mr. Brown said it was the sturdiest. We won a small prize—a bag of candies to share.
When it was time to leave, I felt sad. I had made new friends and learned so many new things. I learned how to work in a team, how to respect nature, and how to be independent. The summer camp was an amazing experience, and I can’t wait to go back next year.

My name is Anna, and I have a little brother named Leo. Leo is five years old, and he is the funniest person I know. He has curly brown hair and big blue eyes that always look like they’re full of mischief. Even though he can be annoying sometimes, I love him very much.
Leo loves animals. His favorite animal is the penguin. He has a stuffed penguin that he takes everywhere with him. He calls it “Pengy” and talks to it like it’s a real friend. Every night, he tells Pengy a bedtime story. Last week, I heard him say, “Pengy, today I saw a dog that looked like a big fluffy bear. It wagged its tail at me!” It was so cute that I couldn’t help laughing.
One day, we went to the zoo. Leo was so excited to see the penguins. When we got to their enclosure, he ran up to the glass and shouted, “Hello, penguins! I’m Leo!” The penguins were swimming in a big pool, and one of them came up to the glass and looked at Leo. Leo clapped his hands and said, “It waved at me! Pengy, did you see that ” He held his stuffed penguin up to the glass, as if introducing it to the real penguins.
Leo also loves to pretend. He often dresses up in different costumes. One day, he put on a red cape and said he was a superhero. He ran around the house, jumping on the sofa and shouting, “I’m Super Leo! I’ll save the world!” Mom got angry because he almost knocked over a vase, but I thought it was funny. Another day, he wore a chef’s hat and pretended to cook. He mixed water and flour in a bowl and said it was “magic soup.” When Dad tasted it, he made a funny face, but Leo didn’t notice. He just said, “It’s delicious, right ”
Even though Leo is little, he teaches me important things. He teaches me to be curious about the world and to find joy in small things. I’m glad I have a little brother like him.

Every Saturday morning, my family and I go to the local market. The market is in the center of town, and it’s always busy with people. There are many stalls selling all kinds of things: fresh fruits and vegetables, homemade bread, flowers, and even handcrafted toys. Going to the market is one of our favorite weekend traditions.
When we arrive at the market, the first thing I notice is the smell. There’s the sweet smell of fresh strawberries and ripe melons from the fruit stall, and the warm smell of bread from the bakery stall. My little sister, Mia, always runs to the flower stall first. She loves the colorful roses and sunflowers. The flower seller, Mrs. Lee, always gives her a small daisy to hold. Mia smiles so big that her eyes almost close.
My mom likes to go to the vegetable stall. She talks to the farmer, Mr. Chen, about which vegetables are fresh that day. He always lets her taste a cherry tomato or a piece of cucumber. “These are from my garden,” he says proudly. “I picked them this morning.” My mom fills her basket with carrots, broccoli, and lettuce. She says vegetables from the market taste better than those from the supermarket because they’re so fresh.
My dad goes straight to the bread stall. He buys a big loaf of whole-grain bread and some cinnamon rolls for breakfast. The baker, Mr. Johnson, knows my dad’s order by heart. “The usual ” he asks, and dad nods with a smile. I like to go to the toy stall. The toys are made by local craftsmen,
and they’re very unique. Last week, I bought a small wooden car that I’ve been playing with every day.
After we’ve finished shopping, we usually stop at a small café near the market. We sit outside and drink juice while Mia plays with her daisy. Mom looks at our bags full of food and says, “We’ll have a delicious dinner tonight.” I love our trips to the market because they’re a time for our family to be together, and I always feel happy when we’re there.

My school has a big garden, and every class is responsible for taking care of a small part of it. Our class’s garden plot is near the playground, and we’ve been working on it since the start of the school year. Taking care of the garden has been a lot of work, but it’s also been a lot of fun.
At first, our plot was just a patch of dirt. Our teacher, Ms. Green, told us we could grow whatever we wanted. We had a class discussion, and everyone voted to grow tomatoes, carrots, and sunflowers. Ms. Green said those were good choices because they’re easy to grow and we could eat the tomatoes and carrots when they’re ready.
The first thing we did was dig the soil. Some of us had never used a shovel before, and we laughed when the dirt flew everywhere. Then, we planted the seeds. Ms. Green showed us how deep to put them and how far apart. She said, “Seeds need space to grow, just like people do.” We watered the seeds every day, and after about a week, we saw small green shoots coming out of the dirt. Everyone was excited. We took turns checking on them every morning.
As the plants grew, we had to pull out the weeds that grew around them. Weeds take water and
food from the plants, so we wanted to make sure our tomatoes, carrots, and sunflowers got everything they needed. One day, we noticed some bugs on the tomato plants. Ms. Green said they were aphids, which are bad for plants. She showed us how to spray them with a mixture of water and soap, which is safe for the plants but keeps the bugs away.
Last month, we picked our first tomato. It was red and round, and we all took turns holding it. Then, we cut it into small pieces and shared it. It tasted so much better than the tomatoes from the store! The carrots are still growing, but they’re getting big. The sunflowers are tall and have big yellow flowers that face the sun.
Taking care of the garden has taught us about responsibility and patience. We learned that growing things takes time and effort, but it’s worth it. Every time we look at our garden, we feel proud of what we’ve accomplished.

Lily had been looking forward to the school trip to the mountain village for weeks. On Saturday morning, she packed her backpack with snacks, a water bottle, and a camera. The bus ride took two hours, and when they arrived, Lily was amazed by the green fields and small wooden houses.
Their guide, an old villager named Grandpa Li, took them to a farm. There, they saw cows, chickens, and even a few goats. Lily wanted to take a photo of a little lamb, but as she stepped closer, it ran away. "Be gentle," Grandpa Li laughed. "Animals here are shy but friendly."
After lunch, the class split into groups to help the villagers. Lily's group helped pick apples from the orchard. She climbed a small ladder and carefully picked the ripest ones. When she accidentally dropped an apple, a little boy from the village ran over to pick it up. "I'm Tao," he said with a smile. Lily thanked him and gave him an apple as a gift.
In the afternoon, Grandpa Li said they could explore the forest nearby. "Stay on the path," he warned. Lily and Tao walked together, pointing out colorful birds and strange-shaped rocks. Suddenly, Lily heard a soft sound. She looked down and saw a baby deer lying under a tree, its leg hurt. Tao gasped, "We need to help it!"

第二节 例文:
Lily knelt down to check the baby deer's leg. It was bleeding a little, and the deer trembled softly. "Don't worry, we won't hurt you," Lily said gently. Tao quickly took out a clean handkerchief from his pocket. They carefully wrapped it around the deer's leg. The baby deer seemed to understand and stopped struggling. Lily stroked its soft fur, and Tao fetched some fresh grass to feed it.
Just then, they heard Grandpa Li's voice calling them. They explained what happened, and Grandpa Li praised them for being kind. He knew a vet in the village who could help the deer. Together, they carried the baby deer carefully back. The vet treated its leg, saying it would recover soon. Lily and Tao felt happy, knowing they had
saved a little life.
