自然停顿:朗读时自然停顿的地方往往是意群分隔处。正常语速下,人们会在语义相对独立的地方停顿,如 “He is reading a book /quietly in the room” ,“He is reading a book” 和 “quietly in the room” 中间自然停顿,分别是不同意群 。
判断一个句子的意群可以依据以下几个方法:
1.语法结构
主谓宾结构:主语、谓语、宾语各自或组合可构成意群。例如 “He plays football” 中,“He” 是主语,构成一个意群;“plays” 是谓语,“plays football” 这个动宾结构也可看作一个意群 。
修饰成分:定语、状语等修饰语常与被修饰词构成意群。像 “She is a beautiful girl” 里,“a beautiful girl” 中,“beautiful” 修饰 “girl” ,它们构成一个意群 。
2.语义关联
语义完整单元:具有相对完整语义的部分是意群。比如 “I went to the park to play football” ,“to the park” 表达去的地点,语义完整,是一个意群;“to play football” 表明去公园的目的,也是一个意群。
逻辑关系:按照句子逻辑来划分。例如 “Because it rained, we stayed at home” ,“Because it rained” 表达原因,是一个意群;“we stayed at home” 表达结果,是另一个意群 。
