1.学生能够在听、说、读、看等活动中，提取、梳理故事中动物们擅长的事情以及Toby给它们推荐的工作，理解故事大意。 2.学生能够简要复述故事内容。 3.学生能够与同伴交流、讨论，为其他动物推荐适合的工作，并陈述原因。
教学内容
教学重点： 1.学生能够在听、说、读、看等活动中，提取、梳理故事中动物们擅长的事情以及Toby给它们推荐的工作，理解故事大意。 2.学生能够简要复述故事内容。 教学难点： 学生能够与同伴交流、讨论，为其他动物推荐适合的工作，并陈述原因。
教学过程
1. Let’s sing. 学生演唱上节课学过的歌曲，复习有关职业的单词，教师教授job centre。 2. Look and predict. 教师出示故事的第一张图片，学生观察图片并预测Toby的工作内容。 3. Listen and answer. 学生听故事，初步感知故事大意，并回答问题：Who looks for a job 4. Scan and match. Step 1学生快速阅读故事，通过教师的问题整理故事内容的框架，将故事按照图片2―4、图片5―6和图片7―9进行划分。 Step 2 学生将每张图片中的动物与对应的职业连线。 5. Group work: Why do they find different jobs Step 1 学生阅读图片2―4的故事内容，小组合作完成第一个动物的工作信息档案。教师教授good at cutting和many shapes。学生听图片2―4的故事内容，再次理解第一个动物适合的工作及原因。 Step 2 学生阅读图片5―6的故事内容，小组合作完成第二个动物的工作信息档案。学生听图片5―6的故事内容，再次理解第二个动物适合的工作及原因。 Step 3 学生阅读图片7―9的故事内容，小组合作完成第三个动物的工作信息档案。学生听图片7―9的故事内容，再次理解第三个动物适合的工作及原因。 Step 4 教师带领学生通过整理好的动物工作信息档案，对故事的过程进行梳理。 6. Look, listen and share. 学生听最后一幅图的故事音频，教师引导学生思考并回答：I see… I think… 学生总结出故事的结尾：Everyone has a good job. 7. Let’s read and retell. 学生先朗读故事，然后通过故事梳理图，尝试复述故事。 8. Let’s think. 学生回答问题：What do you think of Toby 感知Toby的人物品质。 9. Read the thank-you card for Toby and write “√ ”. 学生完成感谢卡并大声朗读，表达对Toby的感谢。 10. Pair work: Find a job for another animal. 学生与同伴讨论和交流其他动物适合的工作并陈述原因，创编新的对话，将所学知识进行迁移创新。
