The Ant and the Grasshopper

Activity 2 Listen and answer the questions.

The ant collected corn, and the grasshopper relaxed.
The ant sat at home by her fire, enjoying some
lovely corn soup. But the grasshopper didn't have food or fire.
Activity 3 Read the text and finish the mind map.

What makes different ends

Activity 4 Role-play the story.
Three students make a group, one for the ant ,one for the grasshopper, and the last one for the narrator.
Then choose 3 groups to show in front of the class. When enjoying the show, the other students think about the question below.

Write down some plans to solve the problems.

Problem: Scribbles on school walls
Set up a “Clean Walls” Poster Campaign
Design colorful posters saying “Love Our School—Keep Walls Clean!” and put them near the scribbled areas.
Let art students create beautiful murals (壁画) on empty walls to encourage others to respect the environment.
Hold a Class Meeting About Respect
In each class, discuss why we should care for school property (财产).
Ask students who scribbled to apologize and help clean the walls as a lesson.

Problem: Students are late for class
Create a “Punctuality Reward System”
