重点词汇
mooncake：可数名词，意为“月饼” 。例如：We eat mooncakes on Mid - Autumn Festival.（我们在中秋节吃月饼。）常见搭配：a piece of mooncake（一块月饼） ，a box of mooncakes（一盒月饼）。
stranger：可数名词，“陌生人” 。 如：Don't talk to strangers on the Internet.（不要在网上和陌生人交谈。） 短语：be a stranger to sth.（对某事一无所知）。
relative：可数名词，“亲属；亲戚” 。 例如：My relatives live in different cities.（我的亲戚住在不同的城市。） 短语：close relative（近亲） ，distant relative（远亲）。
put on
“增加（体重）；发胖” 。例如：She has put on ten pounds since she stopped exercising.（自从她停止锻炼，体重增加了十磅。）
“穿上；戴上” ，强调动作，反义词组是take off（脱下）。Put on your hat. It's windy outside.（戴上你的帽子。外面有风。）
lay out：“摆开；布置” 。如：The mother laid out the new clothes for her children.（妈妈为孩子们摆好了新衣服。）

重点句型
宾语从句：在复合句中作主句的宾语，宾语从句要用陈述句语序。
由that引导，that在口语和非正式文体中常可省略，表示陈述意义 。例如：He says (that) he is happy.（他说他很开心。）
由if或whether引导，表示 “是否” ，一般情况下可以互换，但在介词后、与不定式连用时、与or not连用时，常用whether 。例如：I wonder if/whether he will come.（我想知道他是否会来。） I'm thinking about whether to go there.（我在考虑是否去那里。）
由连接代词（what, who, whom, whose 等）或连接副词（when, where, how, why等）引导，表示特殊疑问意义 。例如：Do you know what he is doing （你知道他在做什么吗？）
感叹句
What引导的感叹句：What + (a/an) + 形容词 + 名词 + 主语 + 谓语！ 例如：What a beautiful girl she is!（她是一个多么漂亮的女孩啊！）What delicious food it is!（多么美味的食物啊！）（food为不可数名词，所以不用a/an）
How引导的感叹句：How + 形容词 / 副词 + 主语 + 谓语！ 例如：How fast he runs!（他跑得真快！）How beautiful the flowers are!（这些花多么漂亮啊！）
重点语法
宾语从句的时态
主句用一般现在时，从句可用任意时态 。例如：He says that he will go to Beijing tomorrow.（他说他明天要去北京。） He says that he has been to Beijing twice.（他说他去过北京两次。）
主句用过去时，从句用过去的某种时态（一般过去时、过去进行时、过去完成时） 。例如：He said that he was watching TV at that time.（他说他那时正在看电视。） She said that she had finished her homework.（她说她已经完成了作业。）
主句用过去时，从句是客观真理时，只用一般现在时 。例如：The teacher said that the earth moves around the sun.（老师说地球围绕太阳转。）

The Mid - Autumn Festival is a very important Chinese festival. It falls on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month. A few days before the festival, everyone in the family will help to make the house clean and beautiful. Lanterns will be hung in front of the house.
On the evening there will be a big family dinner. People who work far away from their homes will try to come back for the reunion. After dinner, people will light the lanterns which are usually red and round. Children will play with their own toy lanterns happily.
At night the moon is usually round and bright. People can enjoy the moon while eating mooncakes which are the special food for this festival. They can look back on the past and look forward to the future together. It is said that there was a dragon in the sky. The dragon wanted to swallow the moon. To protect the moon, children made loud sounds to frighten the dragon away.
