二、知识点梳理
重点词汇
textbook:可数名词,意为 “教科书;教材”。例如:We use English textbooks to learn English.(我们用英语教材学习英语。)
conversation:可数名词,“交谈;谈话” 。短语:have a conversation with sb.(和某人交谈) 。如:I had a long conversation with my teacher yesterday.(我昨天和老师进行了一次长谈。)
aloud:副词,“大声地;出声地” ,常与read, call, shout等动词连用 。例如:Please read the text aloud.(请大声朗读课文。) 注意与loud, loudly的区别:loud作形容词时表示 “大声的;响亮的” ,作副词时与loudly意思相近,都表示 “大声地” ,但loudly有时含有 “喧闹” 的意味 。如:Don't talk so loud/loudly.(别这么大声说话。)
pronunciation:不可数名词,“发音;读音” 。例如:His pronunciation is very good.(他的发音很好。) 其动词形式是pronounce,意为 “发音” 。如:I don't know how to pronounce this word.(我不知道这个单词怎么发音。)
patient
作形容词,意为 “有耐心的” ,短语:be patient with sb.(对某人有耐心) 。例如:Our teacher is very patient with us.(我们的老师对我们很有耐心。)
作名词,意为 “病人” 。如:The doctor is examining his patients.(医生正在检查他的病人。)
expression:可数名词,“表达;表示;表情” 。例如:There was an expression of surprise on her face.(她脸上露出惊讶的表情。) 其动词形式是express,意为 “表达;表示” 。如:I can't express my feelings in words.(我无法用言语表达我的感受。)

secret
作名词,“秘密;秘诀” ,短语:the secret to...(……的秘诀) 。例如:What's the secret to your success (你成功的秘诀是什么?)
作形容词,“秘密的;保密的” 。如:a secret meeting(秘密会议)
重点短语
by doing sth.:“通过做某事” ,表示方式、方法 。例如:I learn English by listening to English songs.(我通过听英文歌曲学英语。) 对by doing sth. 结构提问用how 。如:How do you study for a test (你怎样为考试做准备?) -By reading the textbook.(通过阅读课本。)

look up
“查阅;查找” ,宾语如果是代词,要放在look和up中间 。例如:I don't know this word. I need to look it up in the dictionary.(我不知道这个单词,我需要在字典里查一下。)
“抬头看” 。如:He looked up and saw a bird in the sky.(他抬头看,看到天空中有一只鸟。)
make mistakes:“犯错误” ,短语:make mistakes in doing sth.(在做某事方面犯错误) 。例如:I often make mistakes in grammar.(我经常在语法方面犯错误。)
be afraid to do sth.:“害怕做某事” 。例如:She is afraid to speak in public.(她害怕在公众场合发言。) 注意与be afraid of doing sth. 的区别:be afraid of doing sth. 表示 “担心做某事会带来某种后果” 。如:She is afraid of falling down.(她担心摔倒。)
fall in love with:“爱上” 。例如:I fell in love with this city when I first came here.(我第一次来到这个城市就爱上了它。)
connect...with...:“把……和……连接或联系起来” 。例如:We should connect theory with practice.(我们应该把理论和实践联系起来。)
pay attention to:“注意;关注” ,to是介词,后接名词、代词或动名词 。例如:Pay attention to your handwriting.(注意你的书写。) Pay attention to listening to the teacher in class.(上课注意听老师讲课。)
重点句型
How can we become good learners :这是一个特殊疑问句,用于询问成为优秀学习者的方式 。回答时常用 “by + 动名词” 结构 。例如:How can we improve our English (我们怎样才能提高我们的英语水平?) -By reading more English books.(通过多读英语书。)
I study by working with a group.:“by + 动名词” 结构表示通过某种方式做某事 。类似的表达还有:by listening to tapes(通过听磁带) ,by watching English movies(通过看英文电影) 等 。
What about reading aloud to practice pronunciation :“What about... ” 意为 “……怎么样?” ,用于提出建议或征求意见,about是介词,后接名词、代词或动名词 。同义表达有:How about... 例如:What about going for a walk (去散步怎么样?)
It's too hard to understand spoken English.:“It's + 形容词 + to do sth.” 结构,it是形式主语,真正的主语是后面的动词不定式短语 。该句意思是 “理解英语口语太难了” 。例如:It's easy to learn math well if you work hard.(如果你努力学习,学好数学很容易。)
The more you read, the faster you'll be.:“the + 比较级,the + 比较级” 结构,表示 “越……,就越……” 。例如:The more exercise you take, the healthier you'll be.(你锻炼得越多,就会越健康。)
Why did Wei Fen find it difficult to learn English :“find + it + 形容词 + to do sth.” 结构,it作形式宾语,真正的宾语是后面的动词不定式短语,形容词作宾语补足语 。该句意思是 “魏芬为什么觉得学英语很难?” 例如:I find it interesting to play basketball.(我发现打篮球很有趣。)
语法要点
“by + 动名词” 结构:表示通过某种方式或手段做某事 。例如:He makes a living by selling newspapers.(他靠卖报纸谋生。) 对该结构提问用how 。
动词不定式作宾语:有些动词后面常接动词不定式作宾语,常见的有:want(想要) ,decide(决定) ,hope(希望) ,plan(计划) ,expect(期望) 等 。例如:I want to go shopping.(我想去购物。) She decides to study hard.(她决定努力学习。)
一般过去时的否定句和疑问句
否定句:在动词过去式前加didn't,动词过去式还原 。例如:He played football yesterday.(他昨天踢足球了。) 否定句:He didn't play football yesterday.(他昨天没踢足球。)
疑问句:在句首加did,动词过去式还原 。例如:Did he play football yesterday (他昨天踢足球了吗?) 肯定回答:Yes, he did. 否定回答:No, he didn't.

How do you study each day You may answer it in one second: have classes at school, take notes and do homework. Feeling a little bored There are other ways that can make learning interesting and varied (多样的). It's called digital (数字的) learning.
Digital learning is a way to help students learn by using the Internet. There are three important kinds of digital learning. Apps are computer software applications (应用). People can download them on their mobiles. The other two kinds are social networking services, including Weibo and WeChat and websites. Every one of them is like your teacher. They help you understand what you learn at school.
Compared with traditional learning ways, digital learning has its advantages. Digital learning is also varied. It covers almost every school subject. More importantly, it always offers students the newest resources (资源) to learn from.
