1. Don’t be late for class!
句型是否定祈使句.因为late是形容词,所以前面必须加be .be late for sth. “干某事迟到".例如:He was late for school yesterday. 昨天他上学迟到了。
2. How many 后接可数名词复数,例如:How many apples does he have? 他有多少个苹果?
3.现在完成时,表示对于目前来说已经发生或完成的动作,不强调动作发生的时间.构成结构为:“have/has +v.-过去分词”。例如:He has done his homework. 他做完了作业。
4. I hope you’ll show them to me sometime.
“You’ll show them to me sometime”是“I hope”引导的宾语从句。Hope 意思是“希望”。有两种搭配,即:hope+(that)从句,表示主语希望自己或别人做某事;hope to do sth., 表示主语希望自己作某事。如:
I hope (that) you can study hard. 我希望你能好好学习。
He hopes to go there by bike. 他希望骑自行车去那儿。
但一定要注意,不能说hope sb. to do sth.
5. A lot意为“很,非常”,修饰动词,表示程度。A lot of “许多,大量”修饰可数名词和不可数名词。例如:He likes rice a lot. 他很喜欢米饭。
6. One of 表示“其中之一”,后接可数名词复数,用单数谓语。例如:One of my good friends is Li Ming. 我的一个好朋友是李明。

Class opening
Step 1: Let’s begin a free talk about what you did on weekend.
Ask a few students to come to the front and speak freely. They can ask anyone questions if they like.
Step 2: Ask two questions.
What subjects do they have? What are they?
What’s your favourite subject? Why do you think so?
Teaching steps
Step 1: Read the text by students. Then guess the meanings of the new words.
Step2: With a partner, act out the dialogue. Then change the roles.
Step 3: Listen to the tape .let them repeat the important parts.
Step 4: Encourage students to ask questions according to the text. You can begin like this:
What class does Brain have next?
When does Jenny have art?
Step 5: Make sentences with the important language points.
Step 6: Use the present perfect tense.
Step 7: Do as the “LET’S DO IT” .

Hope意为“希望”,用于表示有可能实现的愿望,其后接动词不定式,即hope to do sth .若表达希望……用“hope that从句”。

Wish +to do /that 表示不能实现的愿望
从句中用虚拟语气。

Sometime作副词,意为“在某时”表示某个不确切或不具体的时间。常用于过去时或将来时,提问用when
be good at 意为“擅长”,at+名词/代词/动名词。=do well in “在某方面做得好”

be late for sth.意思是 “做某事迟到/晚了”,类似的句型还有be late to do sth.
Eg:Mr. Smith was late for the meeting yesterday.

此句为现在完成时态,其结构为:主语+ have/ has +过去分词,描述过去发生的而与现在有关的事或状态,或是从过去某时刻到现在为止这一段时间中发生的情况,换言之,现在完成时是表示从过去到现在的事情。
Eg:I have already finished my homework.
我已经做完了我的作业。
He has been an English teacher for ten years.
他当英语老师已经10年了。3. I hope to see them sometime.
sometime副词, “某一天”, 用于一般将来时态, 表示未来不确定的某个时候.
Eg:I’m sure I’ll make a computer by myself sometime in the future.
我相信将来的某个时候我一定会自己制造一台电脑。sometimes “有时候”, some time “一段时间”,
some times “几次” , sometime “将来某个时间”Eg:I will stay in Beijing for some time.
我将在北京待一段时间。
He sometimes goes to school on foot.
他有时候步行去上学。
I hope to see my parents sometime next week.
我希望下周的某个时间去看望父母。
I have been to Hainan some times.我去过海南几次。4. Class will start in two minutes!
in + 时间段 “多长时间以后”,常用于将来时,提问时用How soon。
for + 时间段 “多长时间”,提问时用how long。
Eg:—How long can I keep your book? —Two weeks.
—How soon will our class start? —In ten minutes.这周我已经画了六幅新图画了。我希望某天能看看它们。今年我更加擅长美术。它是我最喜爱的课之一。两分钟之后开始上课。试着把以下句子译成汉语并想一想这些句型的用法。
