1. Get the new words ready for each lesson before class.
2. Preview the text of lesson 14.
五、学习流程
Step 1 Lead in
Ask the students questions in the life. You give a student a present and ask his feelings now. Then lead the words: happy, sad, angry,
Step 2 Presentation
Use many colours to say the words about feelings. Teach and say “I feel blue/sad. I feel green/sick. I feel yellow/ scared. I feel red/ angry” loudly.
Step3: Listen and Read
Now let’s listen to the tape and read after it. Pay attention to the words that they must read correctly.
Step 4 Practice
Some students come to the front, saying many colours, and the others say their feelings.
Step 5 Explain the dialogue in detail
Give the presents that you prepared to the students that do well. Then ask and answer “How do you feel? I feel blue…Don’t be/feel sad/yellow/sick…” Explain it in Chinese when it is necessary. Help them answer “I’m happy.” Then take their presents away and ask “How do you feel now?” Help them answer “I’m sad”
Step 6 Practice
Listen to the tape and read after it. Then let some students read in roles.
Step 7 Let’s do it together
1. Work in pairs. What do you like or not like to do? What makes you feel happy, sad, angry, scared or sick? Talk about it, write it down and draw a picture. (See Page 37)
2. Encourage students to say loudly.
Step 8 Homework
1. Remember the new words and expressions.
2. Make up a dialogue about what we’ve learnt today.
