课标要求 （2022版）《义务教育英语课程标椎》指出在语境中理解词汇的含义，在运用中逐步积累词汇；在特定语境中，运用词汇描述事物、行为、过程和特征，表达与主题相关的主要信息和观点。能用简短的句子描述所学的与中外文化有关的具体事物：初步具有观察、识别、比较中外文化异同的能力;能识别、提炼、概括语篇的关键信息、主要内容、主题意义和观点。
教材分析 What: 本语篇是配图故事。这是一篇Zip教Zoom游泳的故事，Zoom想学习游泳，但是他不敢下水，所以只能在家看电视学习游泳，最后Zip带Zoom去游泳池游泳，Zoom在实践中学会了游泳，引导学生在落实计划要付诸实践，感悟“做中学”的道理。Why:通过本课学习，作者旨在让学生感悟“做中学”的道理，同时也提醒同学们在执行计划时要听取建议，及时调整计划。How:故事中的主要句型为 What are you going to do... I'm going to.…主要生词为 disturb、without、pool、afraid、 remember等。
学情分析 能力基础：经过三年的英语学习，学生具了一定的听、说、读、写能力，能读懂语言简单、主题相关的简短语篇，获取具体信息，理解主要内容，能运用所学语言与他人进行简单的交流。 知识基础：学生在三年级下册第四单元中学过句型：Where is...？It's in/on/under...来询问物品的位置，在四年级上册unit4 My home中，学过地点词汇：living room, library，study，garden等，学生已有的知识储备为本节课的学习打下了基础
核心素养目标 1.能够借助图片和故事内容，以及在教师的引导下理解词汇：disturb、without、pool、afraid、 remember，运用核心句型谈论计划。(学习理解)2.能够在老师帮助下表演故事,并能进行复述。（应用实践）3.能够恰当运用故事中的核心语言来写一写自己学会一项技能的过程。（迁移创新）
教学重点 1.在图片和教师的引导下，预测语篇内容，理解文本信息，完成圈出答案及找关键词回答相关的问题，并在语境中理解词汇：feature，work,BDS的意思；2.能运用核心句型：Turn left/Turn right at …描述路线。
教学难点 1.能够在老师帮助下表演故事,并能进行复述。2.能够恰当运用故事中的核心语言来写一写自己学会一项技能的过程。
