课标要求 （2022版）《义务教育英语课程标椎》指出在语境中理解词汇的含义，在运用中逐步积累词汇；在特定语境中，运用词汇描述事物、行为、过程和特征，表达与主题相关的主要信息和观点。能用简短的句子描述所学的与中外文化有关的具体事物：初步具有观察、识别、比较中外文化异同的能力;能识别、提炼、概括语篇的关键信息、主要内容、主题意义和观点。
教材分析 What本课语篇为校园生活配图词汇，Zhang Peng在线上与笔友Peter交流表示自己有许多兴趣爱好，如阅读故事、唱歌、功夫等，同时也介绍了跳舞和踢足球两种兴趣爱好，同学们围绕兴趣爱好话题展开调查与汇报。Why 通过Zhang Peng与Peter的交流介绍多种兴趣爱好，让学生学习动词ing的变化规则，了解如何询问他人兴趣爱好，在学习过程中感知人物兴趣爱好的多元性以及人与人之间的共性，引导学生通过交流共同兴趣爱好互助成长，学会运用所学语言与他人交流兴趣爱好，培养学生乐观、自信的心态，以及通过共同兴趣爱好向异国好友传播优秀中华文化的意识。How语篇选用学生日常交流的场景，借助图片帮助学生理解五个常见的活动类动词ing词汇的含义，如dancing, singing, reading stories, playing football, doing kung fu，并再次学习动词ing的变化规则；通过Zhang Peng和Peter的对话What are your/his/her hobbies I/He/She like/likes... 让学生明白核心词汇在口语交际中的语用功能，提高对所学语言的运用能力，学会询问和描述自己与他人的兴趣爱好，了解第三人称单数动词变化和like+动词ing的用法。
学情分析 能力基础：经过三年的英语学习，学生具了一定的听、说、读、写能力，能读懂语言简单、主题相关的简短语篇，获取具体信息，理解主要内容，能运用所学语言与他人进行简单的交流。 知识基础：学生在三年级下册第四单元中学过句型：Where is...？It's in/on/under...来询问物品的位置，在四年级上册unit4 My home中，学过地点词汇：living room, library，study，garden等，学生已有的知识储备为本节课的学习打下了基础
核心素养目标 在看、听、读的活动中，获取、理解对话中 Zhang Peng 和 Oliver 关于兴趣爱好的表达；（学习理解）2.在教师的帮助下，分角色表演对话；（应用实践）3.简要评价对话中 Zhang Peng 和 Peter 为什么会成为朋友；（迁移创新）4.运用核心语言和同伴谈论好朋友的兴趣爱好（迁移创新）
