Both dolphins and whales are smart, but dolphins are often more active. They like to jump out of the water and play. Whales, especially large ones, move more slowly.
Another difference is their food. Dolphins eat fish and squid (鱿鱼). Some whales, like blue whales, eat tiny sea animals called krill (磷虾). They can eat tons of krill in a day.
However, dolphins and whales also have similarities. They are both mammals (哺乳动物), which means they breathe air and give birth to live babies. They also communicate with each other using sounds.

The Venus flytrap (捕蝇草) is a very special plant. Unlike most plants, it doesn't get all its food from the soil. Instead, it catches insects to eat.
The Venus flytrap has leaves that look like little traps. Each leaf has two parts, and there are small hairs on them. When an insect touches the hairs, the two parts of the leaf close quickly, trapping the insect inside. Then the leaf produces juices to digest (消化) the insect. After about a week, the leaf opens again, ready to catch another insect.
This amazing plant grows in wet places in the United States. It needs a lot of sunlight and water to live. If you want to keep one as a houseplant, you have to be careful. You can't feed it meat like hamburgers. It can only eat small insects like flies.
What is special about the Venus flytrap

Humans and animals have many differences, but we also share some similarities. One similarity is that we both need food and water to live. We also need to sleep to stay healthy.
However, there are big differences in how we communicate. Humans use language to talk, write books, and send messages. Animals can't do this, but they have their own ways to communicate. For example, bees dance to tell other bees where to find food. Birds sing to mark their territory (领地) or attract mates.
Another difference is the ability to make tools. Humans can make complex tools like cars and computers. Some animals can use simple tools, though. For example, chimpanzees (黑猩猩) use sticks to get ants out of anthills.
We also have different ways of learning. Humans can learn from books, schools, and the Internet. Animals usually learn by watching other animals or through trial and error (反复试验).
What is a similarity between humans and animals
A. They both use language to communicate.
B. They both need food, water, and sleep.
C. They both make complex tools. D. They both learn from books.
