附加疑问句
附加疑问句是对陈述句所叙述的事情提出相反疑问的问句,主要表示以礼貌或委婉的语气提出要求、询问或确认信息等。读时前半部分用降调,后半部分既可用升调也可用降调。通常情况下,用升调时,多表示疑问或请求;用降调时,多表示求证或希望对方同意。附加疑问句由两部分构成:前一部分是一个陈述句,后一部分是一个简短的疑问句。两部分的人称和时态应保持一致。陈述部分为肯定句时,附加疑问句用否定式,反之用肯定式。
一、主语问题
[先感知]

[明规则]
附加疑问句中主语的选择是关键,要分辨陈述句中的主语,并了解其代词的表现形式。
1.主语为指示代词时,附加疑问句的主语用it或they等代词。
2.主语为名词时,附加疑问句的主语用其相应的代词。
3.主语为不定代词时,指人,附加疑问句的主语用he/she或they;指物,附加疑问句的主语用it或they。
4.主语为动词-ing形式、不定式或名词性从句时,附加疑问部分的主语用it。
5.There be句型为特殊句型,附加疑问句用there。

[明规则]
1.陈述句中谓语动词有have/has/had时附加疑问句的形式
当have/has/had为助动词时,帮助构成完成时,附加疑问句中使用助动词+主语。当have/has/had为实义动词“有”时,附加疑问句可用have/has/had或借助于助动词do/does/did。当have/has/had表示“吃,玩”等意义时,附加疑问句要借助于助动词do/does/did。
2.陈述句中含有情态动词时附加疑问句的形式
通常情况下,陈述部分含有情态动词时,附加疑问句使用同样的情态动词。需要注意的是must表示“必须,有必要”时,疑问部分否定用mustn’t/needn’t;肯定用must。

[明规则]
1.一般来说,当陈述部分是含有宾语从句的主从复合句时,附加疑问句的主语和谓语通常和主句中的主语和谓语保持一致。
2.若陈述部分为“I/We think/believe/suppose/consider/...+宾语从句”时,附加疑问句的主语和谓语与宾语从句的主语和谓语保持一致,且用否定形式。
3.若陈述部分为“I/We don’t think/believe/suppose/consider/...+宾语从句”时,附加疑问句的主语和谓语与宾语从句的主语和谓语保持一致,且用肯定形式。
4.若陈述部分为“主语(非第一人称)+think/believe/suppose/consider/...+宾语从句”时,附加疑问句的主语和谓语由主句决定。

[明规则]
1.陈述部分含有few、little、nothing、seldom、never、hardly、scarcely、rarely、nowhere、at no time、in no case、by no means、on no condition、in no way等否定词(短语)或半否定词(短语)时,附加疑问句要采用肯定疑问方式。
2.陈述部分含有由un-、im-、in-、dis-等否定意义的前缀构成的词语时,视为肯定含义,附加疑问部分用否定形式。

在回答附加疑问句时,不论陈述部分是肯定或否定句,回答都按照事实的是与否回答yes或no。
1.当陈述句是肯定句,附加疑问为否定时,回答肯定用“Yes+肯定”,否定用“No+否定”。汉语翻译分别为“是,……就是”“不,……不是”。
2.当陈述句是否定句,附加疑问为肯定时,回答肯定用“Yes+肯定”,否定用“No+否定”。汉语翻译分别为“不,……就是……”,“对/是,……不是……”。

Geoghegan Hart sees schools as key to setting young people up for life with good sporting habits.“When you’re school age,sport can encourage you and take hold of you and change you more than at any other age,” he explains.“Yes,we all go on journeys with sport,but when you look back at those journeys,they start with your childhood.”
One big attraction of taking part in The Daily Mile is that it is a cost-free way in which schools can encourage regular exercise. Geoghegan Hart says he hopes The Daily Mile will encourage children to try and be more active in the future.“Something as simple as The Daily Mile can lead to much more,” he says.
