Step1.Warm-up
1．师生问候：How are you?
2. Sing the song: Where is the hospital?
Step2.Revision
1.温习前一节内容，为后文的游戏做准备。
2.A game: Catch the plane赶飞机。
游戏规则：How can I get there? You can catch the plane.当飞机带着句子或词语出现时，能迅速读出上面的内容，飞机就算赶上了。再读下一组词语或句子，就赶上下一班飞机，这样赶几次飞机，你就能到达目的地了。你能到达目的地吗？21世纪教育网版权所有
这样不仅复习了所学知识，还活跃了课堂气氛。
Step3.presentation and practice
Teach : go straight.
T: Look here, what’s this? S:It’s a ruler.
T:Yes, it’s a ruler. It’s very straight. Straight, straight.教师领读几遍。
教学词组go straight. 并在黑板上简笔画画出图标，写上go straight.教师从讲台处向前走，边走边带读go straight.走几步后是教师走，学生读词组。
Teach: turn left and turn right.
教师举左手，右手教学单词left, right.

(3) 教学词组turn right, turn left. The teach draws and writes them on the blackboard.
(4)活动：队列训练。每组请两名同学到讲台前一字排开，听教师发指令：turn left, turn right学生边转边重复，说错或转错的淘汰出局，留在最后的就是胜者。第二轮每组的另两名同学继续，看哪组最后能获胜。21·cn·jy·com

(5) 词组turn left, turn right在句中的应用。根据图片教学句子：Turn left at the…在某地向左拐。 Turn right at the…在某地向右拐。2·1·c·n·j·y
3.Teach: crossing. This is a crossing. Crossing, crossing. The teacher draws and writes on the blackboard.教师在画图时，十字路口多画了一个小和尚，告诉学生们，路口一定要小心慢行，才能保平安！也可以在黑板上贴上此图片。
4. .四个新词语全部呈现，领读，学生自己读，同桌相互读。
5. Play the flash: B Let’s learn.播放动画，全班先看和听，理解课文。
6. .教学Italian restaurant.领读几遍。
7.再次播放flash,要每句一停顿，学生跟读。
8.学生自读课文，二人为一组相互读。
Step4. 游戏：插红旗
展示几个建筑物，教师做示范进行插红旗。请一名同学到前面，蒙上眼睛。教师指挥他：Go straight, turn left, turn right, stop.让同学把红旗插到指定的位置。
学生每组出一名同学手拿小红旗，组内其他同学指挥，插到指定位置，哪组用时最快，哪组就是获胜组。
此设计给了全组同学表现的机会，有指挥的，有行动的，有计时，在快乐的氛围中，巩固了新知识。
Step5.Consolidation and extension
图片介绍Beihai Park并带读词语。
图片介绍Palace Museum并带读词语。
图片介绍Tian’anmen并带读词语。
课本7页的地图展示。The teacher says: Chen Jie is trying to be a tour guide for Oliver in Beijing. Can you help her? For example, now we are in front of Tian’anmen. Go straight and you can see the Palace Museum.同桌二人为一组进行口语练习。
每组派一名代表进行导游比赛，手拿小喇叭，挥动小彩旗，看哪组代表表达准确清楚又大方。
6.活动：老外与警察
活动方式：先由教师扮演老外，学生扮演警察，让警察为老外指路。在师生示范的基础上，学生两人一组，分别扮演警察与老外进行对话。
