Evans Wadongo was from a village of Africa. He had to do homework by the light of a kerosene lamp(煤油灯). Evans' eyes hurt and this made studying difficult. It was common in his village. Many children left school for this reason, so they remained poor for the rest of their lives.
Although studying was difficult, Evans was an excellent student and went to a university. He continued to worry about the kerosene lamp. By this time, he realized it was not just bad for schoolchildren but for the whole family. First, it can cause illnesses such as coughs. Also, the light can hurt people's eyes. Besides, it can lead to fires. Lastly, kerosene is expensive, so families have less money for food. It was difficult to come up with a different kind of lamp that was cheap and good for the environment. Yet Evans did not give up.
One day, he had an idea. He could use a small solar light. Sunlight is free and solar power is good for the environment. Evans built his first solar lamp, and it worked. He began to build more lamps and sent them to local families. An organization heard about this and provided money for him to build more solar lamps.
Each lamp only cost $20. However, this was a lot of money to many villagers, who only earned around$34a week, so Evans made sure he kept the cost down. First, Evans used recycled materials. Next, volunteers built the lamps. Finally, people from many countries gave away money to his team, so the lamps were usually free.
Thousands of people had safe light. Julia, a mother of three, said, “Thanks to Evans, my children have light to read, and I have my own light to cook.” The solar lamps made a big difference.

Today we can do everything with apps: pay bills, order food and shop for anything. Mobile technology means we can hold the world in our hands. However, when it comes to technology and health care, opportunities and challenges come together.
★ . Telemedicine can allow a patient to use technology to see the doctor online and get a diagnosis(诊断) and instructions without leaving home.
In addition, there are many patient websites. These allow for different kinds of interactions about our health needs without involving the medical team. Setting a date with doctors and reading lab results are readily achieved by technology.
A whole new age of medical care seems likely to come in the future. But every com has two sides. What might be on the other side of techno-health care
Firstly, we should think about the health care experience as a whole. A usual visit to a doctor begins with a receptionist(接待员), who can see and tell how a patient is doing. This may influence the treatment effect. It's unlikely that a patient website will have such intuition.
Next, sharing the details of one's life requires trust, which takes time to build. This is certainly true in health care, where some of life's best and worst moments involve doctors. The human touch should not be undervalued and is unlikely to be there over the smartphone.
Lastly, test results can be difficult to understand. When someone without a medical degree sees a flagged result with no explanation on the website, there's room for all kinds of stories to form in their minds—— and also great worry.
So how does medicine adapt to the new technology age Very talented companies are working on it. There is medical equipment(设备) that can be used at home to send necessary signs and heart sounds through telemedicine. It seems likely that some companies will find a way to explain test results.
But what it will not achieve is the warmth of human interaction and touch. Patients often need someone to listen to— and care about— their journey story, which will never be realized through a human-less technology.Technology should be a tool, but depending on it totally will most certainly have unexpected effects. Let's not allow our humanity to be one of them.
( )61. Which of the following can be put in ★
A. Let's talk with the doctor online
B. Let's start with the ways to get health care
C. There is a long way to go for apps of telemedicine
D. Online shopping and online education are more popular than telemedicine
( )62. The word “Intultion” in Paragraph 5 probably means .
A. an ability to understand B. an interesting experience
C. a chance to win D. a fair decision
( )63. What do you know about techno-health care from the passage
A. Patient websites require trust from doctors.
B. Talented companies can give medical advice.
C. Flagged results may cause worry for patients.
D. Medical equipment collects patients' stories.
( )64. The writer probably agrees that .
A. technology can deal with unexpected effects
B. telemedicine can take the place of usual health care.
C. it is difficult for patients to adapt to the new technology age
D. techno-health care should take humanity into consideration
( )65. Which would be the best theme picture of the passage

The octopus(章鱼) is an amazing animal. Scientists have long known that octopuses are intelligent. But until recently, they did not realize just how 66 octopuses really are.
Octopuses have different ways to get away from their enemies. Sometimes they squirt ink (喷射墨汁). The ink makes the octopuses difficult to see. Octopuses also have the ability to change the color of their bodies. Their enemies may swim by 67 noticing them.
While working in the ocean, scientists were surprised to see octopuses use another way to protect themselves.Scientists saw some small octopuses moving coconut shells(椰子壳) across the ocean floor. Scientists 68 the octopuses and discovered that they were collecting coconut shells.
When an octopus thought it was in danger, it raced 69 the shells. Then it got two shell halves and hid inside them by pulling one on top of the other. Because coconut shells are very hard on the outside, the octopus was able to create a safe ball that protected it from 70 . Scientists believe that this shows that octopuses are tool users.
六、综合填空(每小题1分,满分10分)
阅读下面短文,根据上下文或括号内单词等提示,在空白处填入适当的单词或括号内单词的适当形式。
What time is it The answer you give can be different, because you are in different Earth's time zones(时区).But 71 could you tell the time if you aren't anywhere on Earth
Scientists are now 72 (think) of creating a lunar time zone. They believe it would be better for astronauts to communicate 73 using Moon Time, as they travel to, from, and across the Moon. At the moment, astronauts are using time zones of their own countries. But there could be 74___ (safe) problems caused by the differences in time-telling
Setting up a lunar time zone is not easy. Gravity(引力) 75 (influence) how quickly or slowly time passes.Since gravity is weaker on the Moon, clocks run a bit 76 (fast) there. After 24 hours,a lunar clock would be 56microseconds ahead of a clock on Earth. Another point to consider is that a full day on Earth is about 24 hours 77 two sunsets. While on the Moon, it is nearly 709 hours, about 29.5 Earth days. This means that lunar nights can be around two weeks long, with only the Earth and the stars in the sky. With all this to think about, scientists need 78 (decide) whether it would be better to follow a time zone on Earth, or for the Moon to have its own special zone, which would have much longer days.
Scientists must consider other problems too. For example, who should be responsible for keeping the time zone going And how can it 79 (make) practical for astronauts to use
There are more countries 80 (plan) Moon trips in the future. The idea of creating a time zone on the Moon would make these easier. And if a lunar time zone is set up, scientists could create time zones for other planets like Mars.
