Everyone needs a healthy diet plan. This is especially important when we are first making the change to a new food lifestyle.I say lifestyle, because diets just don't work. You will always find yourself struggling as long as you think of your eating habits based on a diet rather than a lifestyle.
What you eat will be determined from what you believe about health and nutrition. If you believe there is no connection between health and the food you eat, you will eat whatever “tastes right” to you, no matter what it is doing to your health. However, if you believe that the human body is an unbelievable self healing (自愈的) machine that only requires the right fuel (nutrition) to maintain health, then you will choose your foods thus.
A healthy diet plan must be based on what is best for your body.If you are concerned about your taste buds (味蕾), don't worry they will catch up.They have likely been programmed to think they want fats and salts. It may be hard for you to imagine doing without all those processed foods you've been eating. But it won't be long after you start following a healthy diet plan that your taste buds will long for what is really good for you.
It will take some time for your body to acclimate_to your new diet plan, just as developing any new positive habit does. But trust me, your body knows what it needs.Once you start feeding it the nutrition it requires, your body, including your taste, will respond positively.
The healthy diet plan we advise is one that includes as much whole, raw food as possible. Our personal meal planning includes a lot of raw food, whole foods and little to no animal products. Our meal plans include as many dark green and other brightly colored vegetables as possible.
The final tip I have for you as you make the change to a healthy diet meal plan is knowledge, knowledge, knowledge.Having the right knowledge will be one of your keys to success.
8.What should we change first to have a healthy diet plan
A.Our lifestyle. B.Our eating habits.
C.Our taste buds. D.Our ways of thinking.

A.They will stick to what we are used to eating.
B.They will become weak if we change our diet.
C.They can only respond to refined foods.
D.They can change with our diet plan.
11.What does the underlined phrase “acclimate to” in Paragraph 4 probably mean
A.Object to. B.Get used to.
C.Survive from. D.Get over.

Have you ever imagined that your T shirt can cool you down by up to 5℃ on these hot summer days Thanks to a recent discovery, the possibility is getting closer. While there are many technologies that manage to keep the body warm, this amazing invention aims to offer real comfort for those who want to feel cool and fresh on extremely hot days.
Its inventors, engineers Ma Yaoguang of Zhejiang University and Tao Guangming of Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China, took a completely new technique. They designed a special textile (纺织物) that can take in body heat and give off its energy into space. This means that, even when it looks like you are wearing a regular shirt, you are actually wearing something that works like a mirror.
Research at Stanford University in 2017 had already managed to cool the wearers by 3℃, but this experiment was limited. So researchers still need to do more experiments to see the new technique to decide how effectively the new material cools while the wearers are standing or walking, and not directly facing the sky, like in their experiments. They also need to examine how well it works when T shirts are not in close touch with the skin.
Inventors Yaoguang and Guangming note that the new material will increase the costs by just 10 percent.“It means everybody can get a T shirt and the cost is basically the same as their old one,” Yaoguang said.
So if you are an athlete or simply someone that has to deal with the extremely high temperatures, be patient because your days of feeling hot and bothered may be coming to an end!
12.What is the purpose of the new invention
A.To keep people warm.
B.To help beat the heat in hot weather.
C.To find out the wearers' temperature.
D.To protect clothes from becoming wet.
13.How does the special product work
A.By sending out absorbed heat.
B.By turning sunlight into energy.
C.By keeping heat out completely.
D.By using light colors to reflect sunlight.
14.What is the main idea of Paragraph 3
A.The invention needs further testing.
B.The studies in 2017 lack evidence.
C.The new textile has a good cooling effect.
D.The new textile applies to various situations.

第二节(满分25分)
阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。
I was 28 years old, the age when most young people have their eyes firmly fixed on the promise of success but I was a failure. Six years earlier, fresh from college, I had joined a dramatic producing company, and had been going into small towns and rural communities producing country style musical comedies. But, in the summer of 1940, the country was in a depression, radio had changed people's tastes, and part time shows weren't all that big any more. So, jobless and with nothing else in sight, I went back home.Later I got a job as a recreation room director in my hometown. It paid $50 a month, for which I was grateful, but it sure was a dull job.
I felt so frustrated with my plan to be a dramatic star. Restless and dissatisfied though I was, it was nice, in a way, to be back home. I tried to teach some of my town's children music and drama. And when I got a chance, I'd try my luck as a performer myself. I'd dress up as a country girl and tell little stories and jokes that I'd picked up during my years living around country folk.I gave this country girl a name — Minnie Pearl.
One October afternoon I was in the recreation room, waiting for the children when a banker friend, Jim Walker, came in and said, “We're going to have a bankers' meeting here.I understand you've been teaching some children dramatics and dancing and singing.Would you let the children entertain the bankers?” I said, yes.Suddenly, he turned and added, “Oh, by the way, the speaker from Chicago is flying here.If he's late, would you mind doing that Minnie Pearl thing?” I told Jim I'd do it.
That night the children sang and danced to old time, popular songs when I was backstage. After we finished the performance, Jim came to me,“The speaker's not here yet. You'll have to help us.”“All right,” I told him, “just give me a minute to dress up.”
注意:1.续写词数应为150左右; 2.请按如下格式作答。
Then I went out in front of the hundred or so men in the audience.

Then I walked off the stage into the audience, and a banker greeted me.

第一节
参考范文:
As students, we usually attach more importance to our scores. We tend to devote most of the time to our study, neglecting the importance of exercising. As a result, some students are poor in health and some are facing the problem of obesity.
However, I strongly believe that a healthy lifestyle is much more important. A healthy lifestyle means healthy food and doing exercise, which will benefit us a lot. A balanced diet and everyday exercise will keep us fit and energetic. And with a healthy body, we will be happy and confident, making it possible for us to study better. So to get a good score, we should first have a healthy lifestyle.
第二节
参考范文:
Then I went out in front of the hundred or so men in the audience.I said, “I'd like to give you my performance of a country girl.” I started telling them about the wonderful stories and jokes. And the bankers were laughing and applauding. When I ran out of stories, I looked over at Jim Walker, and he shook his head.So I started singing old country songs. At the end of the second song, Jim came over to me and said, “The speaker is here. You can stop now.”
Then I walked off the stage into the audience, and a banker greeted me.He told me he knew Harry Stone, the manager of the great country music station in Nashville.Later he recommended me to Harry Stone.Harry Stone had me come up for an interview and offered me a good job. That changed my whole life.It was the beginning of Minnie Pearl, and, to me, the end of my “failure” and the beginning of a new way to share fun with others and look at things.
