本单元的写作任务是写一篇活动类的新闻报道。新闻报道是记叙文的一种,其特点是以事实为依据,对人的经历或事实给予明确的、实事求是的报道。写作过程中要保持事件的真实性、准确性,语言要准确、简练、通俗易懂,不必追求过分花哨的词语和过于复杂的句型。

1.导语通常为新闻报道的首段,是新闻内容的提要。作为“新闻的灵魂”,导语往往通过新闻报道中的基本要素(即who、what、when、where、why和how)来简要介绍新闻的主题。如本文开篇点明了街舞节发生的时间、地点及其基本情况等,符合新闻报道真实性的写作特点。
2.主体部分通常围绕导语中的主题进行具体而详细的说明。如本文第二、三段为主体段,具体叙述这次活动的细节,从观众的人数、活动节目的多样性到各种服务活动,尤其是指出来这次活动最精彩的部分是儿童歌舞,点明活动的精彩之处。
3.结尾通常是对全文内容的概括总结。如本文最后一段点明节日给观众带来的乐趣及其凝聚不同社区的重要作用。
三、学语言特色
1.用事实数据展现具体内容:导语部分介绍参与人员的数量时用了over 10,000 people from over 20 communities。
2.使用直接引语:在报道中直接引用人物所说的原话,可以在瞬间将读者置于新闻人物面前,让读者亲身感受新闻的环境与过程。如总结部分作者引用了活动参与者的话“We are eager to participate in next year's festival.”形象地展示了参与者对这次街舞节的看法,使报道具有现场感,增强了说服力。
