名师点津 appreciate表示“感激”时,后面要跟动词 ing形式作宾语,而且后面的宾语一般是事情或it,不跟sb.。appreciate sb.意为“重视/赏识某人”,如果表示“感激某人”应用thank sb.。

巩固已学语法——whose引导定语从句
(1)whose引导定语从句,其后应紧跟名词,构成名词短语。whose用作定语,多指人,也可指物。
(2)whose可用of which/whom代替,但语序不同,即whose+名词=the+名词+of which/whom=of which/whom+the+名词。
