Learning English all by yourself is very difficult.
Swimming is a good sport in summer.
It is no use/no good crying over spilt milk.
It was hard getting on the crowded street car.
3.用于“There is no ...”
There is no saying when he'll come.
There is no joking about such matters.
No smoking.

Their coming to help was a great encouragement to us.
Mary's being ill made her mother upset.
Working in these conditions is not a pleasure but a suffer. Living in digs means having one room in someone's house.
Smoking is not good for health.
It is not good for you to smoke so much.
(2)在“It is no use ...”,“It is no good ...”,“It is a waste of time ...”
It is no use/good/a waste of time talking about that.
Does your saying that mean anything to him
(4)在“There is no ... ”结构中,只能用动词-ing形式,而不能用动词不定式作主语。

Working on your adventure list These national park treasures which turn favorites during the harvest time should be on it.
Cuyahoga Valley National Park
33,000 acres of forests wait between Cleveland and Akron, all along the snaking Cuyahoga River. The park will delight you with plenty of outdoor activities suiting every interest, but do not climb over the fenced areas, rocks, or Brandywine Falls. Now the red maple trees will be visually on fire, which you can enjoy from the comfort of the tourist railway—Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.
Gateway Arch National Park
This urban park comes back thanks to the Arch's new Museum and Visitor Center. Give your feet a break after walking over five miles of park pathways with a ride to the top of the Arch to enjoy beautiful leaves. You can even bring your dog: the park is hosting Arch Bark every October.
Gulf Islands National Seashore
Extending some 160 miles along the northern coast of the Gulf of Mexico, this series of parks includes a historic building, untouched barrier islands, and sugar white beaches. Don't miss the Fort Pickens area, which is a perfect spot to observe wild animals living in the scenic natural environment. With an average high of 79? and a low of 60?, the fall weather here is exceptional.
Voyageurs National Park
Yellow and red leaves in fall will catch your eyes, contrasting with this parks' glassy waters. In the Land of 10,000 Lakes, there are no roads in the park, so visitors use boats to cross this remote 218,000-acre park. Some 100+ bird species, even the rare ones, pass through the park, so keep an eye out for them.

It's safe to say Yellowstone National Park is still looking good at the ripe old age of 150. The park, which stretches into Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho, is known for its unique natural scenery, bountiful wildlife, and deep history. It also helped usher (引领) in the broader national park movement in the US, according to Chuck Sams, the director of the National Park Service.
“We now celebrate something much bigger than the park itself—the beginning of the national park idea, an idea that spread through the country and around the world, inspiring governments to protect natural and cultural treasures ‘for the benefit and enjoyment of the people,’” he said in a statement.
Yellowstone is home to the largest concentration of mammals in the lower 48 states. Bears, wolves, coyotes, moose, and a large population of small animals can be found in the park. It's also the only place in the US where bison (野牛) have lived continuously since prehistoric times. It was looking risky for a period in the 1900s, when the animal was hunted down from a previous high of tens of thousands to less than two dozen. This bison conservation effort continues to this day.
Yellowstone shut its gates in March 2020 for some reason and remained closed for nearly two months. But the park broke attendance records after it reopened. The park reported 4.9 million recreation visits in 2021—up 28% from 2020 and making it the busiest year on record, July 2021 was the most-visited month in Yellowstone's history and the first time visitation exceeded 1 million visits in a single month. It's Yellowstone's natural beauty and deep history that brings millions of visitors each year.
“Yellowstone's 150th anniversary will be an important moment in time for the world,” said Yellowstone Superintendent Cam Sholly. “It's an opportunity for us to reflect on the lessons of the old days while focusing our efforts to strengthen Yellowstone and our many partnerships for the future.”

Germany is famous for its history and culture, and it also has some of Europe's most wild and wonderful scenery. Here are four parks worth visiting.
The Bliesgau Biosphere
This place is home to almost half of all German flower species. The grasslands run for miles, drawing in different butterflies. Thanks to its great climate, this is an area of sustainable development. In fact, this park is an example of farming done right and offers a wealth of agricultural know-how to anyone eager to learn.
Berchtesgaden nature park
Berchtesgaden is one of Germany's oldest and most beautiful conservation areas. Paths go in and out of the forest, leading you along the banks of glassy lakes. The more adventurous visitors may choose paragliding Back on the ground, a network of more than 150 miles of walking paths goes through the forest.
Southern Black Forest nature park
The highland areas, with views over Switzerland and France, are good places for food-lovers. Activities in the park range from hiking and fishing to mountain biking, while the slower travelers will enjoy the paths to get away from everyday life.
Jasmund nature park
It lies on the west coast of the offshore island of Rugen. This protected site is the smallest of Germany's national park. It is here that painter Caspar David Friedrich found himself inspired to create one of his masterpieces, Chalk Cliffs on Rigen, in 1818. Here long paths can take you all the way to the Rugen coastline, where white-sand beaches and blue waters wait for you.
