本句中“ how to increase my reading speed 为”疑问词+动词不定式“结构，在句中作know的宾语。疑问代词who，what，which 等和疑问副词when，where，how等后面跟不定式，构成
“疑问词+动词不定式”结构。这种结构在句中可作主语、宾语、表语等，作主语时，谓语动词用单数形式。

e.g. Eating too much fried food can increase the risk of cancer.

increase 还可作名词, 意为“增长；增多”。作可数名词时,其前如果用冠词则用an。
There was an increase in the population of our country.
我们国家的人口增长了。
increase by “增长了”，后接百分比或分数。
increase to “增长到”，后接具体数字。
increase 作动词常用结构：
e.g. The hit of the video increased to 2 million. Compared with yesterday, it increased by 10 ％ .
这个视频的点击量增加到200万，与昨天相比增加了10％。
speed n. 速度 常用结构：
① speed up 加快速度 ② at a/ the speed of...以……的速度
③ at high/ low speed以高速/ 低速 ④ speed limit 最高车速限制
e.g. Safety is more important than speed. 安全比速度更重要。
Please drive at a speed of forty miles an hour.
请以每小时40 英里的速度驾驶。
We’d better speed up if we want to get there on time.

如果不定式中的动词是不及物动词，或者不定式所修饰的名词或代词是不定式中动作发生的地点或借助的工具等，不定式后要用适当的介词，并且介词不能省略。
