During our childhood,we had cultural shows at school where singing, dancing, dramas and speeches were performed by the school students.Among many such programs that took place in the school, one drama actually made me laugh a lot.
It was a drama called Cinderella that actually turned out to be very comical. The person who directed that drama seemed to mainly train the students to memorize the dialogues which were well performed by them.
But what did the performers wear While Cinderella was a cute little girl, she did not wear anything beautiful at the ball. She wore house slippers(拖鞋),and one of her slippers couldn't come off her foot when she was running away after midnight from the ball. She tried many times to take it off and finally it dropped and she ran away from the stage.
That missing slipper was found by a prince, who was actually a girl, dressed up as a boy but not looking like a boy.She held it up.Feeling a deep sense of shame, she acted her part showing it to the audience.More mistakes in the drama were that Cinderella's stepsisters were poorly dressed too at the ball and neither her stepsisters nor their mom looked like bad guys.
In the end,a fairy tale drama turned out to be a funny play and everyone had hearty laughs.Since it could give so much fun to the audience,it was not altogether a failure. And the audience laughed loudly as the drama ended, giving performers encouragement.
Cultural programs like this are needed for school students.Students don't need any special skills and the programs don't have to be fully perfect. They need to be organized in schools so that students can take part, share laughs and free their minds.

D.Students are very inactive in cultural programs.

People who write dramas, also called plays, are known as playwrights or dramatists. Some popular types of dramas include comedy, tragedy, farce(滑稽戏),opera and docudramas. Now,I'd like to tell you something about them.
Lighter in tone, comedies try to make the audience laugh and usually come to a happy ending.Comedies put unusual characters in special situations, causing them to do and say funny things.Comedies can also be sarcastic(讽刺的)in nature, creating fun at serious topics. There are also several different types of comedies, including the romantic comedy, the comedy of manners and so on.
Tragedy is based on darker themes.Generally, tragedies show serious subjects like death, disaster, and human suffering in a way that make the audience think.Hardly enjoying happy endings, characters in tragedies, like Shakespeare's Hamlet, are often troubled by their character flaws(缺点)that finally lead to their death.
A farce is a type of drama in which characters overact and present physical humor.Examples of farce include the play Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett and the hit Airplane! in 1980.
Opera is a type of drama which combines theater, literature, music, and dance to tell stories of tragedy or comedy.Since characters express their feelings through singing rather than dialogue, performers must be both skilled actors and singers.La bohème by Giacomo Puccini and Falstaff by Giuseppe Verdi are classic examples of opera.
A docudrama is another kind of drama.Docudramas talk about historic events or non fictional situations, which are more often presented on television than in movie theaters.Popular examples of docudramas include the movies Apollo 13 and 12 Years a Slave.
8.What do we know about comedies

You probably love watching movies. They can be funny, sad, imaginative, inspiring and so much more! There are so many possibilities and so many great movies to watch!
Making a movie usually begins with a script(剧本). 16 The producer is the person who is in charge of the practical and financial aspects of making a movie. The producer plans how the project will be carried out and he usually starts by hiring a director!
17 The director will usually identify themes or feelings that he or she wants the movie to give to its audience and then gather all the other people who will be needed, such as costume designers, make up artists, cameramen, and,of course, actors! Next, shoot! 18 Often a director wants to get several “takes”(一次连续拍摄的电影镜头)of a scene or moment and usually only a few minutes of the movie are finished in one day's work. 19 So once filming is finished, the director must then work with editors to piece them all together, deciding which takes to use and adding in some special effects.
The entire process from getting the script to editing the scenes generally takes months or even years.Once it is ready, the finished movie is then sent to movie theatres. 20

People often have a tough time dealing with their feelings of disappointment. That is when you should give them time and understanding and he or she just might come around before long.
I remember talking with my friend Avery about the coming school play Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, which we both applied for.Avery had a talent for acting and she was anxious for playing Alice while for me I didn't care what part I played as long as I would be in.However, when the character list was posted,we were surprised to find that I got the part of Alice and Avery was chosen to act the rabbit.I guessed it was because I hadn't been nervous at all during the audition(试演). But that situation really didn't occur to me.
Then I asked Avery,“Do you want to come over after school and we can practice our lines?”“You mean, practice your lines?” Avery replied, not even looking at me.“No,thanks.I'm pretty busy this week.” I continued to ask if it would be OK for the next week, but her answer was negative and full of anger.
That night at dinner, after my parents congratulated me on getting the lead role, they asked how I felt.“Well,I can't understand.” I said and told them about Avery's reaction and I believed that she pretty much threw away our friendship.
“Hmm,” said my dad.“Arizona, don't you think this might be an opportunity for you to be an extra good friend?”“Dad is right,” added my mom.“Sometimes when our friends do well,we feel envious(羡慕的)and don't know how to act.Try giving her a little time and understanding. She'll come around.”
Over the next week,I did my best to give Avery some space.I practised my lines but I knew I needed some help since my voice was not expressive enough.Day by day,Avery's attitude seemed softened. As the rehearsal(彩排) day was near,I made a decision.
注意:1.续写词数应为150左右;
2.请按如下格式作答。
One day after school in the rehearsal room,I approached Avery. ___________

[参考范文]
One day after school in the rehearsal room,I approached Avery. Feeling sorry,I said,“I know you didn't exactly love playing the rabbit, but you are so talented that I'm sure you can perform differently and well.” My words were answered by Avery's smiles. She apologized for her previous way, telling me the role required many gestures, which challenged but also attracted her.She generously helped me with my lines. We started to practise acting together. With the acting day drawing near,we were determined to present our best.
Then came the big day. I expressed my lines brilliantly as the lead role and Avery earned applause for her creative play of the rabbit.Happy tears sprang to our faces as we hugged each other on the stage.“Thanks for giving me time to recover,” Avery said.It was for my patience in our little tough time. Thanks to my parents, not only did I become an extragood friend, but I also realized how to understand a friend's disappointment moment.
