教学难点： 1. The pronunciation of the key words, phrases and sentence structures. 2. The usage of the key words, phrases and sentence structures.
教学过程
Step 1. Complete the passage with the correct form of the words in brackets. Ask Ss to complete it by themselves. Ask several students to share their answers with the whole class. Ask Ss to read and underline the key phrases. Step 2. Complete the passage with the words and expressions in the box. 1. Ask Ss to read the words and phrase in the box after the teacher. 2. Ask Ss to complete the passage. 3. Ask Ss to share their answers by reading one sentence per student. 4. Ask Ss to read and underline the key phrases in the passage. Step 3 Complete the sentences with the words in the box. Ask Ss to read the words and phrases in the box after the teacher. Ask Ss to complete the 8 sentences. Ask 8 students to read one sentence in order to check the answers with the whole class. Ask students to underline the phrase “go wrong”. Step 4 Complete the passage with the expressions in the box. Ask Ss to read the phrases in the box after the teacher. Ask several Ss to share their answer by reading one sentence. Step 5 Read and answer. Ask Ss to read the article by themselves. Ask Ss to complete the sentences according to the content of the passage. Ask several students to share their ideas with the whole class. The teacher shows the answers on the PPT. Ask Ss to read and underline the key phrases and sentences. Step 6 Around the world--Home alone Ask Ss to read and think what are the basic rules in the UK. Help students understand key phrases and key sentences in the article.
