If引导的条件状语从句：
结构 用途 含义 例句
if从句 + 祈使句 表达 建议 如果……就…… If you don’t feel well, please /you should go to see the doctor.
if从句 + 主句 表达某种假设 如果……将…… If he doesn’t work hard, he will /may fail his exams.
1.从句表示建议，主句用祈使句或情态动词+动词原形。
从句表示某种假设，主句表示此种情况所导致的结果。
2.时态：从句一般现在时，主句一般将来时或祈使句
（即主将从现）
if 引导的条件状语从句和if 引导的宾语从句的区分:
1. if 在句中的含义不同
I want to know if he is a teacher (or not).
If 在宾语从句中翻译为“是否”
If 在条件状语从句中翻译为“如果”
I’ll go to see you if I am free next week.

2. if 在从句中的位置不同
I don’t know if the train has arrived.
I will go out tomorrow if it doesn’t rain.
= If it doesn’t rain, I will go out tomorrow.
If 引导的宾语从句放在主句之后；而if引导的状语从句可放在主句之前也可放在主句之后
