教材分析 What: 本课时是本单元的第三节课,是一节对话课,教材通过陈洁与John在语文课前讨论新语文教师的情景展开对话。John好奇Ms Wang是谁,便问陈洁,陈洁告知Ms Wang是新来的语文老师,并描述她的性格特点,John就问陈洁是否认识新来的语文老师,后来才知道她是陈洁的妈妈,对话轻松有趣,容易带入情景。Why: 教材结合图片、听力和视频观看活动了解语篇内容,学生能够根据人物的体貌和性格特征在情景中运用句型描述人物外表的句子,学会了解关心他人,树立正确的审美观,学会欣赏和尊重他人。How: 本节课的对话内容分为两部分。第一部分是Let’s try,用于训练和提高学生听的能力;第二部分则是Let’s talk的对话内容,延续上面听力活动的语篇情景,继续讨论Ms Wang的人物性格,运用句型What’s he/she like He’s/ She’s...展开问答,最后迁移创新,谈谈身边老师和朋友的性格特点。

教学反思 亮点本节课是一节对话课,教材内容比较少,所以在设计的时候我适当增加了语篇输出。结合前面两节课的学习,学生对本单元的重点句型和单词都已了解,从一开始通过听、读等活动了解新老师Ms Wang的性格特征,到最后写一写自己最喜爱的老师,这些都是培养学生的综合语言运用能力。对于基础较差的学生,学习难度比较大,所以在后面的写作可以设计分层次,照顾不同层次的学生,在作业布置方面也是花了很大的心思。
