参考范文
Dear Joyce,
I’m writing to seek your help because my parents and I are unable to agree on how to learn English.
I am keen on watching English movies, which I consider a good idea to use different media for study. However, my parents are strongly opposed. They think the language used in English movies is informal, which might have a bad impact on my English study. Worse still, it is a waste of my study time because it requires a large amount of energy to have a thorough understanding of an English movie.
Should I follow my parents’ advice or stick to my own idea I would really appreciate it if you could give your suggestions. Looking forward to your reply.
Yours sincerely
Li Hua
