教学目标
By the end of the class, students will be able to 1. list ways to stay healthy to solve Sally’s problems based on the writing purpose, 2. describe Sally’s problems and solve them by giving suggestions, revise and expand sentences to lay writing foundation 3. explain three rules to give suggestions, personal, practical and persuasive by listing sentence structures about suggestions 4. write about suggestions to Sally in the name of Dr Li 5. assess and peer assess the writing from perspectives of language, content and meaning.
教学内容
教学重点: 1. List ways to stay healthy to solve Sally’s problems based on the writing purpose, 2. Describe Sally’s problems and solve them by giving suggestions, revise and expand sentences to lay writing foundation
教学难点: 1. Explain three rules to give suggestions, personal, practical and persuasive by listing sentence structures about suggestions 2. Write about suggestions to Sally in the name of Dr Li 3. Assess and peer assess the writing from perspectives of language, content and meaning.

Students look at the photo of Sally and try to infer her living habits. 3. Read Sally’s letter and sort out her problems 4. Talk about some ways to help Sally and complete a form on suggestions创设情境,引发学生感知健康生活的主题 学生探讨健康生活方式,并且梳理对Sally的建议,形成结构化的知识 感知与注意 获取与梳理 概括与整合 学生能够有良好的情感带入,关注他人与自我的生活方式,自主讨论思考,梳理并获取Sally因生活方式不当,产生的问题并提出建议
