1.Lead in Look at some pictures and answer. T: What language can you see in each paragraph S: English. T: Yes, we can find English everywhere in our daily life. So what do you think of English S: … T: Yes, I agree with you. English is very important in our daily life. 2. Fast reading T: Look at the title: Who owns English It’s a question. Can you answer this question In order to check the writer’s opinion is the same as yours. Please read the passage and find out what the writer’s opinion is Task 1 Which is the writer's opinion A. English is the most important international language. B. English will be replaced by Chinese in the future. C. English is a language with a very long history. D. English is a language with many borrowed words.
