Unit3 Could you tell me where the restrooms are? 其主要内容是含有宾语从句的复合句,这对于刚上九年级的同学来说有点难度,因为这届学生的英语不是太好,尤其是阅读能力稍差一些,很多同学的问题出在懂得阅读策略,词汇匮乏,看到阅读就烦,没有耐心读完就做题,导致了阅读题得分率不高,还有个别同学读文章时不会默读,这种情况很容易读不懂内容大意,针对这些情况,我这节课教给通过快读和细读的阅读策略来了解文章大意。在教学过程中,对学情的了解是教师因材施教的关键。学生已经学会了 that、if/whether引导的宾语从句的句子,可以在任务的指导下通过观察和分析总结宾语从句的基本用法及规律,具有较好的团结协作意识。因此,教师通过创设情境激发学生学习兴趣,通过眼看,耳听,口动,手动,参与学习过程并形成清晰的知识脉络体系。
效果分析
本课能密切联系学生的学习生活实际,精心选取典型的的事例,结合学生已有的生活经历和体验创设教学情境,设计符合学生实际的课堂活动,2b和3a的对话主要讲了He Wei和Alice在游乐场的事情,通过几次阅读,学生基本掌握了大意,通过学生分角色表演对话,激发了学生的兴趣,同时也让课本知识与实践活动很好的结合起来。角色表演完后,让学生带着问题阅读3a部分的内容,提升了学生的阅读能力,然后通过练习强化巩固了学生对于知识点的理解和运用。
课后反思
This class is about Unit 3 Section A 2d-3b in Grade 9. The topic of this unit is to ask for information politely. So in this class, in order to improve the students’ learning interest. The teacher must connect the knowledge in the text with the daily life, and create some interesting situation to ask the students to perform it. In that case, not only can satisfy the wish of the students’ performing , but also shows the situation of the students; study about English.

Step 1 Lead in
The teacher shows a picture about an amusement park, and asks the students if they have been to an amusement park.
Step 2 Learn 2d
The teacher asks the students to read the conversation and answer two questions . Then play the recorder and ask the students to listen and role play the conversation.
Let the students role play it in pairs.
Step 3 Learn 3a and 3b
(Ask the students if they want to know something more about them in the Fun Times Park.)
Skimming:
Ask the students to read the conversation in 3a and answer the two questions on the screen.
Scanning:
Task 1. Read 3a carefully, and answer the questions on the screen.
The aim of the this part is to let the students know the meaning of the whole conversation.
Task 2. Read 3a again and complete 3b.
The aim of this part is to let the students know how to ask others directions politely.
Task 3. Read it again and fill in the blanks on the screen.
The aim of this part is to let the students connect what we have learned in this class with the exams.
Watching and thinking
Ask the students to summarize the uses of the words.
The aim of this part is to consolidate the knowledge that they have learned.
Then ask the students if they have any difficulties in the conversation. And then explain some important points in the conversation.

The aim of this part is to improve the students’ ability of doing exercise.
