学情分析
我们教学的对象是初一学生(英语水平参差不齐),部分学生学习英语既感到好奇又担忧,希望能得到他人的肯定。因此我在教学活动中尽量让他们参与到活动中来,有更多的机会来说英语。在小学英语的学习中,学生已经学习了现在进行时的表达法,现在学生学习现在进行时的肯定句、否定句和疑问句中的构成,学生容易用错或漏掉be动词,教师在教学中要善于引导学生多练习,以加强记忆。本单元的主题是运用现在进行时谈论某人在某地在做什么,通过对目标语言的学习使学生能够谈论自己和他人在此时此刻正在做的事情。通过谈论彼此的动作,培养一种群体意识,通过学生间的合作学习,降低他们的学习难度,使他们体验到成功的喜悦。同时在听说方面以落实,提高他们综合运用语言的能力,使各层次的学生都有所收获。
效果分析
通过本节课的学习,学生掌握了现在进行时一般疑问句,肯定与否定回答,以及特殊疑问句的why的构成和用法。复习了what 引导的特殊疑问句的回答。通过学习现在进行时一般疑问句 的用法,使学生能够询问他人某地正在做什么;能够做出正确的肯定与否定回答;并为下节课能够描述自己和他人某地正在做什么打下了基础。
教学反思
下课后,我的情绪还处在兴奋当中。在冷静下来以后,我对我的这节课进行了认真的分析。我认为:学生也想学,更想学好。但是,作为初中生的他们,身上背负了太多的我们成人难以想象的包袱:家长,老师的殷切期望;考试的压力;与同龄人之间的竞争等等。这些包袱日复一日地加重,以至于压得他们几乎没有了喘息的机会。这节课,我可以说是给了他们一个释放自我的机会,让他们得以暂时放下包袱,让他们在课堂上活起来,动起来,并在动起来的过程中自然地掌握了本节课的教学内容。课后,绝大部分学生能够正确熟练地运用-Is sb. doing in…? 的基本句型,并做出正确的肯定与否定的回答:-Yes, he is./No, she isn't。在当堂达标时,部分学生在运用现在进行时的过程中常常会用错或漏掉be动词,正很正常,因为这是个易错点。但有一点是我始料不及的:学习成绩好的同学也是如此。我当时并不着急,正好借这个课堂生成的问题,给学生机会,让引导学生自己的发现错误并找到错的原因及如何改正?我想,孩子们通过自己给自己或别人纠错,记忆更深刻了。如果我再上这节课,我想我是一定会考虑让学生通过观察,自己来总结现在进行时句型结构,并说明应注意的地方,以此避免学生少犯类似的错误,从而达到更满意的教学效果。

(二)单元教学目标:
1、能力目标:(1)能用现在进行时的各种形式进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作。
(2)能掌握现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配,如:watch TV, read books, play soccer, talk with/ to , be boring, go to the movies, want to do sth.等。
(3)能在日常生活中恰当理解和运用本单元的话题范围内的单词和习惯用语。
2、知识目标:(1)(1)要求学生掌握听说读写课文中出现大纲要求掌握的单词
(pool, TV show, cleaning ,reading, shopping, swimming, playing, watching TV, doing homework, eating dinner, talking on the phone)
(2)学会谈论人们正在做什么, 能就发生的事做 现场报道(3)现在进行时和一般疑问句及简单的答语

3、情感策略、文化等有关目标:
培养同学间的友好相处,规范自己的行为,同时能提高他们的观察能力和判断能力,激发他们对学习英语的兴趣和热情,在接近生活常态的交际中能乐于模仿,敢于开口,积极参与,主动请教。了解西方人是如何表达或描述正在进行的动作。
通过本单元的教学,我要求学生能通过上下文内在的逻辑联系,或在观察别人的行为和活动时能用现在进行时来准确地表达所发生或进行的动作。

(三)单元重难点
(1)教学重点为词汇、词组搭配和现在进行时的用法。
(2)教学难点为现在进行时中现在分词的结构及读音,能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。

Teaching Procedures
Period 1:
A song < What’s he dong? > Students sing and clap . The teacher says I like this song. Then asks: Do you like this song ?
Period 2:
Step 1 Revision The teacher asks the students to look at the pictures of sentences . Let’s look at the pictures . What is he doing? He is ….What are they doing? They’re …? Let the students read together.
Step 2 Presentation
Ask the students to look at the pictures of new words . Let’s look at the pictures . What is he doing? He is ….What are they doing? They’re …? Help the students to answer and teach the new words one by one.
T : What is he doing? Ss: He is swimming in a pool . T : What is she doing? Ss: She is shopping in the supermarket Read all the words together .1a Look at the pictures 1a. Point to the activities the people in each picture are doing. Say something about each picture’s activity clearly. For example, in pictures 1, the man is swimming in a pool .

Ask and answer just like that, and finish 1a The Ss read these new words after the teacher.

Step4. Listening.
1c Listen and complete the chart .Let students pay attention to places and activities. After doing this, play the recording the first time. Students only listen. Play the recording a second time. This time ask the students to listen to the conversations and fill in chart.
1d Listen again. Check their answer in 1c.Then check answers. The answers are: in the library

本单元是Go for it (下) Unit 6。主要围绕“What are you doing?”这一主题展开各种教学活动,并以这一主题引出现在进行时的一般疑问句,否定句以及特殊疑问句等语言功能。本单元旨在创造一个轻松、愉快的学习、交流环境,通过听、说、读、写来培养学生综合运用这些知识的能力。并让学生能在“做中学”(learning by doing),通过有限的课堂实践活动,注意观察别人的行动,能准确地用英语来表达。
“Go for it”教材有一个比较明显的编排特点,那就是每单元由Section A , Section B 和 Self Check 三大版快组成,同时每个版快又由a, b , c 三小部分构成,内容循序渐进,符合学生的认知规律,教材又图文并茂,既能吸引学生的注意力,又能激发学生的学习兴趣,每一小部分中的C部分又是pair work,培养了学生的合作意识,每一小部分又有听力训练,培养了学生的听说能力。Section B 中的3a, 3b 又能培养学生的读写能力,本单元的综合语言知识能力的运用,又能在此体现出来。Section B中的3c是任务性教学,体现了语言的交际性和实用性。
