How to express the ideas
Writing
Dear Leo,
I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well recently. But the doctor is right---you do need to exercise more. I have some suggestions that you might find helpful.
Beginning
First, remember that you don’t have to exercise for 30 minutes or a whole hour without stop. Instead, try to do small amounts of exercise whenever you can. For example, try taking the stairs up to your flat instead of the lift. When you study for a long time, remember to take regular breaks. Get out of your chair and move around a bit: take a walk or practise some dance moves.
Second, you don’t have to pay to exercise. Many forms of exercise can be done outside the gym. For instance, you can go running on the school playground, in the park or around your community. All you need is a pair of comfortable running shoes!
Finally, I understand that exercising alone can be boring, but you could invite your family and friends to work out with you. Encourage them to do exercise too so that you can have fun exercising together. This way, you are more likely to stick with your exercise routine.
Body
Ending
I hope you'll find these suggestions helpful and I'm sure you'll soon be feeling happier and healthier.
Yours truly,
Rachel
