V.阅读理解
①One morning,Igot up early and decided to make an apple pie for my mum. I called my grandma for help, followed a TV programme to make jam and waited excitedly. I enjoyed every step so much that I didn't notice three hours passed by.Although the pie looked terrible and was not that delicious, Mum ate it up and told me it was the best pie that she had ever had. For the first time,I realised that although I didn't make the pie successfully,I really enjoyed the process.
②The process is important because it brings us something bigger than the result itself. That is, we always have new experiences during the process, which may help us improve our skills or form good relationships with others. If we just concentrate on the result and do not enjoy the process, we will be more likely to feel disappointed and want to give up. As a result,we will never understand the real meaning of success.
③But in this busy world, we see a lot of successful people are in competition. How can we enjoy the process Well, the question has the answer in itself.
④Don't always compare yourself with others. First of all, we are all different. And success means different things to us. For some, success means being famous, while for others,it may be health or power. Ride your own ride.
⑤Slow down. You need to stop expecting immediate results in what you do and learn to be patient. Impatience leads to unhappiness. Do it slowly, but never stop.
⑥Reward yourself. Divide the process into small steps, and give yourself a reward after completing each of them. Rewarding yourself for small wins can go a long way. For example, if you are in the process of losing weight, enjoy your favourite cake once in a while.

思维品质辩证思维 We often hear a parent shout, “Tidy your room!” It's thought that an unmade bed and a messy floor can make other family members stressed.
A study found that mess and managing it are“central and important to happiness”, while a messy living space makes people more stressed, especially for women. On the other hand, some untidiness may be the sign of creativity. So what do you think—— is it OK to have a messy bedroom Recently, this topic has caused hot discussion online.
Yes—— it's not a big deal
It is important for children to have their own space where they can be themselves. By allowing children to keep their room as they want, parents are helping children prepare for later life. Also, clearing up your room costs a lot of time and there are more important things to focus on, like work and hobbies. Anyway, there is a great chance of getting the room messy again.
No—— messiness leads to bad feelings
Research shows that in a messy room, you may feel worried and can't focus on tasks like homework. A tidy room can improve clear thinking and calmness. It also means you have more space for activities and won't lose things. What's more, mess might be dangerous— you can fall down or knock something onto the floor and break it.
In my opinion, we can live according to our own willingness if we live alone. However, keeping our space clean and tidy is an important life skill. It is unfair to other family members if our room is messy as it is part of their home too, and we should respect that.
