最高级用于三个或三个以上的人或事物之间的比较，表示“最...”。
一、 构成规则

二、 最高级句型
主语 + be + the + 最高级 + (名词) + 表示范围的短语
表示范围的短语通常是 in... (用于地方、团体等) 或 of.../among... (用于同一类的人或物)。
The Yangtze River is the longest river in China. (长江是中国最长的河流。)
Tom is the cleverest of the three boys. (汤姆是这三个男孩中最聪明的。)
She is the most popular student in our school. (她是我们学校最受欢迎的学生。)
Which/Who is the + 最高级, A, B, or C
Which is the biggest, the sun, the earth or the moon (太阳、地球和月亮，哪个最大？)
Who is the fastest runner in your class (你们班谁跑得最快？)
one of the + 最高级 + 复数名词 表示“最...的之一”。
Beijing is one of the largest cities in the world. (北京是世界上最大的城市之一。)
He is one of my best friends. (他是我最好的朋友之一。)
三、 重要用法注意
定冠词 the： 形容词最高级前通常要加 the。
This is the most expensive camera in the shop.
Monday is my busiest day. (当最高级前有物主代词 my, his, their 等时，不再加 the。)
副词最高级： 副词最高级前的 the 可以省略。
Who runs (the) fastest in your class (你们班谁跑得最快？)
He works (the) hardest of all. (他是所有人中工作最努力的。)
最高级的修饰： 最高级前可以用 by far, much, nearly, almost, the second 等词来修饰，表示程度或顺序。
He is by far the tallest in our team. (他显然是我们队里最高的。)
This is the second largest city in the country. (这是这个国家第二大的城市。)
