Unit 3 Let's make a kite
1教学目标
⒈知识与能力目标
⑴能运用自然拼读法学会新词汇cut、draw、paint、glue、tie的读音;
⑵能运用五个所学新词汇组词造句;
⑶能用“Let’s....”句型说出制作风筝的步骤。
⒉过程与方法目标
⑴通过欣赏各种各样放飞风筝的图片激趣,引出话题“Do you like flying a kite?”激发学生制作风筝的愿望;
⑵通过“How to make a kite?”激趣,引导学生在制作活动体验中感知新词汇,并运用自然拼读法学会新词汇;
⑶通过“砸金蛋(看图造句)”和“帮帮他(听音写词)”这两个游戏活动激趣,让学生巩固操练新词汇;
⑷通过“Let’s fly a kite!”激趣,学生通过学会制作风筝到放飞风筝等一系列活动,体会到学习的乐趣,在玩中学,以学取乐。
⒊情感目标
⑴学生通过一系列课堂活动,体会到英语学习的乐趣,激发英语学习的兴趣;
⑵学生通过对于风筝制作过程的学习来培养对于大自然和户外运动的热爱。
2学情分析
⒈ 五年级的学生活泼好动,处于小学高年级学段,知识接受能力强,空间思维和想象力都处于一个非常突出的阶段。他们爱好新事物,乐于挑战。
⒉五年级的学生对于自然拼读法已经有所了解,并且有一定的词汇和句型基础,例如:在五年级上册时学习过glue(n.胶水),在四年级上册学习过句型“Let’s....”等。
⒊ 学生对于词汇的拼写将会是本次词汇教学的最大障碍,因此教师对于拼写设计可以由听录音,将单词补充完整开始。

⒈ 教学重点
⑴让学生会说、会读、会写、会用新词汇cut、draw、paint、glue、tie;
⑵ 让学生学会运用字母组合ue来拼读新单词;
⒉ 教学难点
如何让学生熟练运用所学新词汇cut、draw、paint、glue、tie。

活动1【导入】Step Ⅰ Happy warming up
⒈Greetings.
⒉Free talk.
⑴通过师生自由对话,谈论天气和季节。
T:What the weather like today?
Ss:It’s sunny/rainy/cloudy....
T:So can you tell me what’s the season now? Spring? Summer? Autumn? Or winter?
Ss:It’s spring/summer/autumn/winter.
⑵师生谈论当季可以进行的活动,接近本课时的学习目标。
T:Spring/Summer/Autumn/Winter is an ice season. Do you like it?
Ss: Yes,Ido./I like.
T:What can you do in spring/summer/autumn/winter?
S1:I can swim.
S2:I can play basketball.
S3:I can….
⑶教师让学生猜测自己喜欢春季的原因,引入本课时的学习目标kite。
①当季是春季:
T:OK. I know you like spring because you can do many things in it .But I like it because I like doing one thing in spring. Do you want to know what it is?
Ss: Sorry, I don’t know.
T:It doesn’t matter. I will show you some pictures about it,then you will know. Let’s watch them, OK?
Ss: OK.
②当季是夏季/秋季/冬季:
T:OK.I know you like summer/autumn/winter because you can do many things in it. But I don’t like it. I like spring very much, because I like doing one thing in spring. Do you want to know what it is?
Ss: Sorry, I don’t know.
T:It doesn’t matter. I will show you some pictures about it, then you will know. Let’s watch them, OK?

活动2【讲授】Step Ⅱ Happy prensentation
⒈Lead in
⑴教师用课件展示十幅各种各样放风筝的场景,引起学生对于风筝的兴趣。
T:Now you know I like spring because I can....
Ss:You can fly a kite.
T:Do you like flying a kite?
Ss: Yes.
T:Do you want to fly a kite now?
Ss: Yes.
T:But do you have a kite
here?
Ss: No.
T:It doesn’t matter. Today we will learn how to make a kite, then you can make a kite to fly, OK?
Ss:OK.
⑵师生讨论风筝制作所需要的材料(学生从教师所给图片中选择)。
T:Now please think first: What do we need to make a kite? You can choose them from these pictures.
图片包括制作风筝所需要的材料和不需要的材料,让学生自由选择。
⒉New words
T:You see, we need too many things to make a kite. Now, I have these things here, let’s learn how to make a kite together, OK?

④课件呈现一幅只有一只风筝孤零零地飞着的草原图片,让学生自由想象可以在上面画些什么,要求学生运用Let’sdraw….句型表达。

④课件呈现学习draw这一环节时用到的草原的图片,要求学生运用Let’s paint….给其中黑白图片涂色,让它变得更漂亮。T:Do you remember this picture?We have draw somethings on it,but they are black and white.Let’s paint them with colors and make them more beautiful.OK?
Ss:OK.
T:Who wants to have a try?
S1:Let’s paint the sun
(with red).
S2:Let’s paint the tree(with green and brown).

学生边说,教师边点击,直到所有黑白图片都变成彩色。
⑷Lead in“glue”.
①教师要求学生齐读单词(单词已学过);
T:We have learnt this word,can you read it?
Ss: Glue.
②教师根据词意做出动作;
T:Yes.Look,this is the glue(举起胶水示意)It is a noun.(名词).
教师做用胶水粘的动作。
T:And this is also“glue”,but it is a verb(动词).Please follow me!
③教师引导学生思考ue字母组合的发音。
④教师展示四个含有ue字母组合的简单(未学过)单词(true、clue、Sue、rue),要求学生运用自然拼读法拼读。
T:Now I have four other new words with“ue” in it, please try to read them,OK?
Ss:OK.
T:Let me see who is No.1!
⑤教师请学生填空

⑸Lead in “tie”.
①教师运用自然拼读法教单词;
②教师根据词意做出动作;

④教师出示三幅图片,要求学生完成句子,并且做出和图片相应的动作。
活动3【练习】Step Ⅲ Happy practice
⒈Review the words
T:Now we have learnt five new words, let’s read them together.
⒉Play a game: choose and say.
教师在每个金蛋后面放有一幅图片,要求学生先选择金蛋,教师敲击被选金蛋后露出图片,学生根据图片所呈现的事物,利用所给句型Let’s….和words box所给出的单词:cut、draw、paint、glue、tie来自由造句。
T:OK, I will give you an example! I like number 3,so I choose 3.(单击3号金蛋,金蛋破碎,露出图片。)
T:Ah~,it’s a flower. So I can say“Let’s draw a flower.”or“Let’s paint the flower.”
教师边说边做动作,同时鼓励学生说不同的句子。
⒊Listen and write: Let’s help him!(学案一)
T:Oh!You did a very good job,are you happy for it?
Ss: Yes.
T:But there is a boy who is not happy. Because he wants to fly a kite, but he didn’t finish it. Can you help him?
Ss: Yes, I can./OK.

⒈Activity:Let’s make a kite! T: Now the boy can fly his kite. He is very happy, and he says“Thank you very much.”

Ss: Yes!
T:OK! Let’s make a kite together first, and then fly it.
⑴教师利用材料做出每个步骤的动作,直至做完五个步骤完成风筝;
⑵教师带领全班同学一起去放风筝。
T:Look! Here is the kite. What does it look like?
Ss: It’s beautiful/lovely/….
T:Let’s fly the kite, now. OK?
Ss: Yes! T:Please stand up! T&Ss:Let’s go! Ss:Yeah!
