本课时重点：1、通过讨论车辆中哪种工具能帮助人们找到自己想去的地方来激活学生的背景知识、储备词汇；
2、 通过阅读问题训练学生在语篇中捕捉不同类型的信息，学会根据上下文猜新词的能力；推理获得教材此部分提供的阅读理解题；
3、 能根据阅读所获取的信息写出文章梗概，为复述故事做提纲；
4、 知道英语句子有升降调，并在教师帮助下找到一般规律，正确朗读句子。
教学过程
Warming-up
Let’s sing: 通过歌曲复习学过的语言知识，为阅读文本做好铺垫。
Pre-reading
Think and say：可以帮助我们旅行的工具有哪些。
2. Let’s say:完成P8的活动，想一想哪些工具可以帮我们找到地方。
While-reading:
提出问题，让学生们思考：在Robin的帮助下，他们是如何找到餐厅的。
找出文本中有关路线的描述的句子，读一读，说一说。
