单元重点:1、学习描述人物特征的相关词汇:old, young, funny, kind, strict, polite, hard-working, helpful, clever, shy 等;
2、学会用He/She’s kind /....介绍自己的老师或朋友的特征和相貌,并会询问他人What’s he/she like
3、能在相应的情景下使用句型Is he/she young /... Yes, he/she is. No, he/she isn’t.能用所学语言知识词汇就人物的性格进行问答;
4、能借助图片、音频、视频等资源完成相应练习;
5、学习字母y在单词末尾的发音规律,并能准确读出相应的单词,能区分y在单词不同位置发音的不同,并完成相应的练习。
本课时重点:1、能根据图片和老师的提示完成相应练习,准确运用old, young, funny, kind, strict对各个学科老师的人物特征的描述;
能根据图片、情景等提示,运用Who’s ... Is he/she young/... 进行问答;
能在真实情境中准确运用所学语言描述自己的家人、老师和朋友。
教学过程
Warming-up
呈现老师自己的照片,并询问学生:What do you think of me 出示学生们之前学过的有关人物特征的形容词,帮助学生们尽快对接本课所学。
呈现其他老师的照片,让学生进一步描述,这里带领学生们复习了学科老师的单词。
Presentation
呈现美术老师的图片,带领学生们学习young,并对比另一个描述人物特征的词old。
提出问题,Who’s Zhang Peng’s art teacher 让学生们思考并看视频再做回答。
观看视频后呈现答案,并学习描述老师的形容词,接着继续提问How about them
回答完问题之后,带领学生根据图片和句子结构进一步学习相应的知识。
学习near,通过学生已经学过的单词ear, dear, 让学生能正确拼读出near这个单词。
Practice
让学生进行两两对话:Who’s your ... Is he/she ... 接着让学生再次阅读文本并完成表格。
继续通过猜一猜的游戏和Ask and answer操练对话。

邀请一名同学扮演新生,向大家提出问题,其他同学向他介绍班上老师们的姓名及人物特征。
