单元重点:1、学习描述人物特征的相关词汇:old, young, funny, kind, strict,polite, hard-working, helpful, clever, shy 等;
2、学会用He/She’s kind /....介绍自己的老师或朋友的特征和相貌,并会询问他人What’s he/she like
3、能在相应的情景下使用句型Is he/she young /... Yes, he/she is. No, he/she isn’t.能用所学语言知识词汇就人物的性格进行问答;
4、能借助图片、音频、视频等资源完成相应练习;
5、学习字母y在单词末尾的发音规律,并能准确读出相应的单词,能区分y在单词不同位置发音的不同,并完成相应的练习。
本课时重点:1、学习5个有关性格、品质等特征的单词:polite, helpful, shy, clever, hard-working;
2. 能够在语境中准确运用这5个单词来描述人物性格等特征;
3. 能够完成为图文连线活动并根据结果展开问答。

Presentation
呈现Let’s learn部分的图片,让学生看一看想一想。
接着视听这部分的内容,并回答问题,并对图片中的人物进一步进行描述。
观看视频后呈现答案,并学习polite, helpful, shy, clever, hard-working
Let’s act
让学生说一说,再演一演,进一步熟悉相应的单词。
Talk in pairs: 继续对话活动操练语言知识。
Let’s say: 运用准确和完整的语言描述自己的朋友。
Practice
Match and say:完成P8的活动,连线并说一说。
