知识目标
1、学生可以感受,听懂,应用5个形容词kind,friendly,smart,active, serious。
2、学生能够用基本句型向别人简单介绍自己或他人的性格特点。
能力目标
1、学生可以比较自如地应用新句和词语描述自己或他人的性格特点,并且能够结合语境描述他人的性格特点,He is_____. He looks_________。
2、学生能根据情境将不同的性格特点单词带入句子里,完成课堂练习。
情感目标
1、学生通过匹诺曹的故事让学生领悟到:积极、乐观、勇敢的面对任何困难。
2、拓展部分结合时事,看图说话,请学生说一说图片中人物的情感,回顾已学词组,用He/ She is…,He/ She looks… 谈一谈家人,老师或者朋友的性格特点。学生不仅能够掌握课堂语言知识,也能产生强烈的情感共鸣,尝试去理解别人的性格特点。
3、培养学生正确的人生观和乐观积极的心态。
2学情分析
五年级的学生有一定的英语表达基础,但单词量较少,不能灵活的用英语表达感情。
3重点难点
重点:能感受,理解,听懂,认读,并且应用5个形容词kind,friendly,smart,active, serious。学生能够用基本句型向别人简单介绍自己或他人的性格特点。
难点:学生能够自如应用句子问答He / She is…; He /She looks….; 谈一谈不同人的性格特点。

3. Look! Who’s she? She is a hair. No, (做手势)she is a fairy. What does she look like? She has...She is... .Today Pinocchio and fairy has a story for you , please find out the different character. Let’s look and listen.(PPT播放)
3. The fairy give a gift for Pinocchio. That’ s a life. How’s she? She is kind. She looks friendly. Good job, kind kind She is kind. She looks kind.边带读,边表演,带动2-3人表演,The fairy is kind and she is friendly, friendly(升调),friendly, she looks friendly.
4. Pinocchio is very happy, he can walk, talk, and what else does he can? (播放完后)Oh! He can sing and dance. So, how is Pinocchio ? He is active. He looks active.
引导学生说active 带读两遍,表演动作,带动2-3人表演, very good ,smart.
