The Benefits of Regular Exercise
Regular exercise is important for both physical and mental health. Doctors suggest that people should get at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise most days of the week.
Physically, exercise helps control weight by burning calories. It also strengthens the heart and improves blood circulation, which reduces the risk of heart disease. Stronger muscles and bones are another result of regular exercise, making it less likely for people to get injured.
Mentally, exercise is just as beneficial. It can reduce stress and anxiety by releasing chemicals in the brain that make people feel good. Many people find that exercise helps them sleep better at night. It can also improve mood and self-confidence, especially when people achieve their fitness goals.
Choosing an exercise you enjoy is the key to sticking with it. Whether it's walking, swimming, dancing, or playing a sport, finding something fun makes it easier to make exercise a regular part of life.

My Sports Experience
When I was in junior high school, I was not interested in sports at all. I preferred reading books or playing computer games after class. As a result, I was quite weak and often got sick.
Everything changed when I entered senior high. Our school requires all students to take part in morning exercises and afternoon sports activities. At first, I hated it. Running made me breathless, and I couldn't play basketball well.
One day, our P.E. teacher noticed my problem and talked to me. He said, "Sports are not just about winning. They're about challenging yourself and becoming stronger." He suggested I start with swimming, which is easier on the body.
I followed his advice and joined the school swimming club. At first, I could only swim a few meters. But with daily practice, I gradually improved. After three months, I could swim 50 meters without stopping.
Now, I enjoy swimming very much. It has made me stronger and more energetic. I no longer get sick easily, and I even joined the school sports meeting last month. Sports have taught me that with persistence, anyone can improve.

The Importance of Sportsmanship
Sportsmanship means behaving properly and fairly when playing sports. It's an important part of any sport and shows respect for opponents, teammates, coaches, and officials.
Good sportsmanship includes following the rules of the game. Cheating or breaking rules to win shows poor sportsmanship and ruins the spirit of the game. True athletes understand that winning isn't everything; how you play the game is more important.
Respecting opponents is another part of good sportsmanship. This means treating them with kindness, even when you lose. Congratulating the winning team after a game shows maturity and respect.
Good sportsmanship also involves respecting officials' decisions, even if you disagree with them.arguing with referees or judges shows a lack of respect for their authority.
Finally, good sportsmanship means supporting your teammates, whether they win or lose. Encouraging each other and working together as a team is more important than individual success.
Sportsmanship isn't just for athletes. Spectators should also behave respectfully, cheering for their team without insulting opponents or officials.
1.What does sportsmanship mean

I'm excited to tell you that our school will hold the annual autumn sports meeting next month. It will take place from October 20th to 22nd on our school playground. The main events include running races, long jump, high jump, basketball matches and relay races.
I will take part in the 100-meter race and the 4×100-meter relay. I've been preparing for them by practicing after school every day. My classmates and I also practice the relay together to improve our teamwork.
