教材分析 What: 本课时是B部分的一节词汇课，基于单元大任务，本节课的子任务是“描述事物特征”。语篇通过Sarah在奶奶的农场采摘新鲜的蔬菜准备做蔬菜沙拉展开，学习五个描述食物味道及特征的单词，本课时的主题情景也是延续了上节课讨论最喜爱的食物，然后继续描述食物的味道及特征，说明喜欢该食物的原因。Why: 通过学习语篇，学生能够听、说、读、写五个描述自己最喜欢的食物，并能够描述这种食物的特征或味道，引导学生养成合理、均衡的饮食习惯。How: 本节课是一节单词课，通过学习创编语篇，了解Sarah喜爱吃的食物及其原因，感知五个核心单词：fresh, healthy, delicious, hot, sweet在语篇中的语义和语用，然后通过听、说、读、写活动巩固单词在句型中的运用，如：They are hot. It is very delicious，最后通过阅读绘本故事《The Street Party》，提升学生的语言综合运用能力。
学情分析 能力基础：经过三年的英语学习，学生具了一定的听、说、读、写能力，能读懂语言简单、主题相关的简短语篇，获取具体信息，理解主要内容，能运用所学语言与他人进行简单的交流。 知识基础：学生在三年级下册第四单元中学过句型：Where is...？It's in/on/under...来询问物品的位置，在四年级上册unit4 My home中，学过地点词汇：living room, library，study，garden等，学生已有的知识储备为本节课的学习打下了基础
