学习 目标 在本课学习结束时,学生能够: 1.梳理文章结构及主旨大意,通过填写表格获取中国女排在里约奥运会不同阶段上遇到的困境及所体现出的精神等细节信息。 2.赏析新闻报道类文章的写作特点,通过找寻现场解说中的动词及形容词等,感知场景描述的写作方式,并积累运用 serve, electric 等重点词汇介绍体育赛事。 3.总结归纳女排精神,通过对比前文 Understanding ideas 中库里所体现出的个人奋斗精神,提炼出体育精神的具体内涵,并使之与民族精神联结,增强文化自信和民族认同。通过发表演讲引导学生思考如何用女排精神指导日常实践,深化“祖国至上、意志坚强、永不言败、团结协作”的思维品质。
重点 引导学生梳理中国女排在里约奥运会不同阶段上遇到的困境及所体现出的相关品质,总结提炼女排精神的具体内涵。
难点 将女排精神与体育精神、民族精神相联系,引导学生使用女排精神指导日常实践,深化“祖国至上、意志坚强、永不言败、团结协作”的思维品质。
【学情分析】
学生特点:
本节课授课对象为高二年级普通班学生,全班学生定物化学科,故学生理科思维主导,擅长逻辑分析与结构化知识梳理,但是可能存在对文本的审美有限等不足,对于 electric atmosphere、steeliest nerves 等文学性语言敏感性不高,可能过度聚焦事实,缺少对于语言的赏析。大部分学生学习态度端正,但是受口语表达限制,课堂活跃度
不高。
话题熟悉度:
班级男生占比大,对竞技体育主题有较大热情,对竞技体育相关词汇敏感度高;且通过本单元前序课程的训练,已经对场景描述等有了初步感知。
知识储备:
具备一定语言能力,已掌握基础体育词汇,能够把握文章主题,理解文本叙事内容及女排赛事细节,但专业术语积累不足;对体育赛事的规则、明星事迹有常识性了解,但缺乏对“体育精神如何影响个人成长”的深度思考。

Students think and share the match that left deepest impression on them. To attract students' interest through competitive activities, activate what students already know, and lead in the Chinese women's volleyball team winning the championship in the Rio Olympics.

While-reading Reading for structure and main idea 学习理解类活动 Teacher asks students to read for the structure and catch the main idea of each part. Part 1 The exciting scene of the match. Part 2 Glorious moments and special place of Chinese Women’s Volleyball Team. Part 3 The challenges that they were face (Para 345) with during Rio Olympics and the reasons for returning Champions. Par 4 They need to start from zero for new success. Students skim the text to find out the structure and main idea of each part. To guide students to grasp the structure of the text through fast-reading, identify the internal logic of each part, and pave the way for further reading.
While-reading Reading for details 学习理解类活动+应用实践类活动 Teacher guides students to appreciate and analyze Para.1 by answering three questions. Q1: “Why does the author begin the text by live commentary ” Q2: “How does the commentator convey the atmosphere of that time ” Q3: “What can we infer from the word‘return’ and the phrase‘once again’ ” Students read Para.1, think about the function of the live commentary and find out the descriptions that the author use to show the atmosphere. Then share what they can infer from the expressions. To deepen students' perception and appreciation of the characteristics of the beginning of feature, and accumulate key vocabularies related to volleyball games and scene description. The development history of the Chinese women's volleyball team is inferred through words such as "again" and "return", and students' reading micro-skills of "inference" are exercised.

Students read Para.2 carefully find out the glorious moments and the special place of Chinese women's volleyball team in nation’s heart in different stages. To sort out the history of the Chinese women's volleyball team to win the championship in the three Olympic Games, and reflect the special significance of winning the championship in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
While-reading Reading for details 学习理解类活动+应用实践类活动 Teacher leads students to feel the struggles during Rio Olympics by reading Para.3-5 and filling in the blanks of the difficulties that Chinese women's volleyball team met and the reasons to win Students read Para.3-5 and fill in the blanks. To comb the difficulties and performances encountered in the process of winning in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, dig out the internal reasons for the women's volleyball team to win the championship, and initially perceive the spirit of the women's volleyball team.

To lead students to summarize the spirit of the Chinese women's volleyball team according to the content of the article, improve students' ability to summarize, and test the depth of students' understanding of the fighting spirit, team spirit and strong will of the women's volleyball team.
Post-reading Conclude the spirit of sport 应用实践类活动 Teacher leads students to compare the spirit reflected from Stephen Curry in Understanding ideas and the spirit of Chinese women's volleyball team, making a definition of spirit of sports.
