第一部分:表示“建议” (Suggestions)
建议的语气比指令更委婉,目的是提出方案供对方参考。
1. 最直接的建议:Let's... / Why don't we...
Let's + 动词原形
Let's go swimming this afternoon. 我们今天下午去游泳吧。
Let's not waste time. 我们别浪费时间了。(否定式)
Why don't we/you + 动词原形
Why don't we have a picnic 我们为什么不去野餐呢?
Why don't you talk to your teacher about it 你为什么不和你的老师谈谈呢?
2. 常用建议句型:What about/How about... / Shall we...
What about / How about + 名词/代词/动词-ing
How about watching a movie 看场电影怎么样?

Shall we/I + 动词原形 (主要用于第一人称)
Shall we meet at the school gate 我们在校门口见面好吗?

3. 正式/强烈建议:You'd better... / You should/ought to...
You'd better (not) + 动词原形 (had better的缩写,表示“最好...”)
You had better finish your homework before going out. 你最好写完作业再出去。
You'd better not be late. 你最好不要迟到。(语气较强,接近警告)
You should / ought to + 动词原形 (表示“应该”,ought to语气稍强)
You should get more sleep. 你应该多睡会儿。
You ought to apologize to her. 你应该向她道歉。
4. 最委婉/正式的建议:Suggest 和 Advise
Suggest
I suggest (that) + (should) + 动词原形 (从句中用虚拟语气,should可省略)
I suggest (that) we (should) start early. 我建议我们早点出发。
I suggest + 动词-ing
I suggest asking the teacher for help. 我建议向老师求助。
Advise
I advise you (not) to + 动词原形

第二部分:表示“指令”或“要求” (Instructions / Commands)
指令的语气更强,更直接,有时带有强制性。
1. 最直接的指令:Imperative Sentences (祈使句)
动词原形 (+ 宾语) + ... (用于命令、指示、请求)
Open your books to page 25. 打开书到25页。(老师对学生)
Please have a seat. 请坐。(礼貌请求)
Don't be late. 别迟到。(禁止)
Don't + 动词原形 + ... (否定)
Don't touch the paint. It's wet. 别碰油漆,还没干。
2. 强硬的指令/要求:You must / have to / need to...
You must + 动词原形 (表示“必须”,强调主观必要性或命令)
You must hand in your report by Friday. 你必须周五前交报告。
You have to / need to + 动词原形 (表示“不得不”,强调客观需要)
You have to wear a helmet when riding a bike. 骑自行车必须戴头盔。(规定)
You need to practice more if you want to improve. 如果你想进步,就需要多练习。
3. 正式/书面指令:It is necessary/important that...
