His name is .../He’s tall and strong./He’s also kind./He often helps me." 及核心词汇tall, strong, kind, help, short hair等,引导学生认读、学习、理解对话内容;通过对话模仿、创编,提升学生用英语介绍朋友的口语表达能力,强化语言与思维的关联。
教学目标 通过本课时的学习,学生能够: 在本课时主题图的帮助下,学生能够听、说、读词汇和句型;能在真实的语境中运用这些单词和句型朋友的外貌、品格等特征。(学习理解) 在看、听、读、说活动中学习、理解对话内容,培养学生用英语思维的能力和初步运用英语交际的能力,使学生能够在生活情景中运用所学句型,达到描述朋友外貌、品格等特征的目的。(应用实践) 通过多种活动提升学生听说技能。通过谈论朋友话题牵引下的情景设置和角色表演和小组练习,巩固本节课核心语言,学生能进一步去判断并思考表达观点,发展了口语技能。(迁移创新) 完成课时目标所需的核心语言如下: 【核心词汇】 tall,strong,nice, kind,short hair,his,he 【核心句型】 1. 教学重难点 【重点】 掌握介绍朋友外貌和品格特征的核心句型;能准备描述朋友的外貌和 【难点】 能够在Say and draw活动中精准匹配语言描述与绘画内容。
学情分析 四年级的学生已经掌握了一定量的基础词汇,如:数字、颜色、常见动物、家庭成员;同时具备一定的句型结构基础知识,如:陈述句、一般疑问句以及肯否定回答,为理解语篇中的对话奠定了一定基础。 四年级学生大多有自己的朋友,对朋友的外貌、性格特征和兴趣爱好都有一定的了解。这使得他们在学习语篇时能够产生共鸣,更容易理解对话中John向妈妈介绍朋友的情景。在日常生活中,他们也有过向别人介绍过自己的家人或者朋友的经历,对于语篇对话的学习和理解是有真实的生活基础的。

【设计意图】本阶段学习活动旨在帮助学生跟唱儿歌激活旧知,初步理解单元主题。通过一系列层次递进的听、说、读、演等活动,逐步带领学生学习和理解本节课对话内容。
2. 在看、听、读、说活动中学习、理解对话内容,培养学生用英语思维的能力和初步运用英语交际的能力,使学生能够在生活情景中运用所学句型,达到描述朋友外貌、品格等特征的目的。(应用实践) 5.学生听录音,模仿录音复述课文对话内容,然后进行小组分角色朗读和表演,最后根据课文内容补全对话。 教师观察学生能否正确朗读和理解课文对话内容,根据学生的表现给予帮助和指导。
【设计意图】本阶段学习活动旨在通过听、读、说等活动让学生加深对课文对话的理解和记忆。
3.通过多种活动提升学生听说技能。通过谈论朋友话题牵引下的情景设置和角色表演和小组练习,巩固本节课核心语言,学生能进一步去判断并思考表达观点,发展了口语技能。(迁移创新) 6.学生在老师带领下总结本节课语言点,独立完成课本Say and draw部分,画一画自己的朋友并向全班同学介绍朋友的名字、外貌特征和品格特点。 7.学生独立完成课堂练习。 老师带领学生总结本节课语言带你,通过画一画、说一说活动巩固本节课重点词汇和句型,训练学生的口头表达能力。 观察学生是否能够准确、快速完成课堂练习。
