语篇研读 what 本课时的阅读文本主要内容围绕好的学习习惯展开,或者说是优秀学习者所具备的品质。文章谈论了一些优秀学习者具备的好的学习习惯。第一,培养对所学东西的兴趣。如果对某事物感兴趣,大脑会更活跃而且更易于长时间地关注那个事物。善于学习的人经常把他们需要学的事物与一些有趣的事物联系起来。第二,练习并从错误中学习。善于学习的人思考他们擅长什么以及他们需要更多的练习什么。即使某事物学的很好,如果你不使用还是会忘记它。 善于学习的人会一直练习他们所学到的东西,而且他们从不怕犯错误。第三,发展学习技能仅仅努力学习是不够的。善于学习的人知道他们能够学习的最佳方式。第四,问问题。善于学习的人在课堂上或者课后经常问问题。他们甚至互相问问题然后尽力找出答案。知识源于质疑。学习是终身的,你所学会的一切都会成为你的一部分并改变着你,所以要聪明地学习、好好学习。
why 通过了解一个成功学习者所具备的品质,学生能够找到适合自己的学习方法,不断进行自我提升,向一个成功的学习者靠拢。
how 文体:说明文,配图结构:这是一篇说理类的文章,采用了“总-分-总”的结构去陈述观点。第1段是全文的主题段,引出观点。第2-5段分别阐述了成功学习者都具备哪些品质,第6段为总结段,说明学习是一个长期的过程,鼓励学生有策略地学习。
学情分析 Know Want Learn
通过前面的学习,学生已经就英语学习的话题对如何更有效地提升英语展开了丰富多样的语言活动,学生学习了与英语学习相关的短语和句式,对学习的认识也有了进一步的提升。本课时的话题为优秀学习者所具备的品质或习惯,该话题与学生的生活息息相关,学生会非常感兴趣。 学生期待在本课时的学习中,能够了解一些与描述好的学习习惯相关的表达。学生期待能够通过阅读文本了解到如何成为一名更好的学习者,能够理清作者呈现观点的方式,并将其灵活应用到自己的写作中。 学生能够理解优秀学习者所具有的一些共同的品质,能够从文章所呈现的四个方面反思自己的学习,并结合实践调整自己的学习习惯。并且学生能够理解培养自己学习能力的重要性。
教学目标 通过本课时的学习,学生能够:1、通过阅读获取一些与主题相关的词汇及短语,如be born with、pay attention to、connect with、be afraid of、make mistakes...,梳理如何成为一名优秀的学习者。2、利用思维导图对阅读语篇进行整理归纳,并独立梳理语篇结构,增进对语篇的理解;结合自己的实际经历对文章中作者的观点展开讨论,总结有用的学习习惯,并通过有效地论据论证自己的观点;能够用目标语言以演讲的方式对文章内容进行概述。3、通过阅读有关提升学习效率和掌握学习方法的文章,评价自己对各科目的学习情况,分析学习中存在的问题,以更积极的态度去面对学习困难,同时培养掌握正确学习方法的意识。

设计意图:Activity 1 引导学生了解本课时的基本话题,了解自己身边熟悉的人拥有哪些好的学习品质,并尝试用自己已知的表达进行描述。同时教师结合课本2a部分引导学生就话题展开讨论,在阅读文本之前,熟悉一些重点词汇和短语。Activity 2引导学生梳理文章的基本结构以及核心观点。引导学生结合文章的基本框架理清重点。学习把握描述如何成为一个优秀的学习者,养成好的学习习惯,养成终身学习的意识。学生能够在思想层面对学习的本质有更深刻的认识,同时能在知识层面丰富自己的表达,提升自己的写作技能。(感知与注意、获取与梳理)。
2.利用思维导图对阅读语篇进行整理归纳,并独立梳理语篇结构,增进对语篇的理解;结合自己的实际经历对文章中作者的观点展开讨论,总结有用的学习习惯,并通过有效地论据论证自己的观点;能够用目标语言以演讲的方式对文章内容进行概述。 Activity 3 : Explanation1.Retell the whole passage.2.Fill in the blanks. 观察学生能否完成思维导图并进行复述。通过学生的回答,判断学生能否准确理清观点、原因及事例间的逻辑关系,教师多鼓励学生大胆表达自己的观点。
