T: OK, so much for the titles. Now I’d like you to meet Li Ming’s new English teacher. Please listen to the tape and try to get some information about the new teacher. Then do Ex1 on Page 9.
After dealing with Ex1, ask students to read the text again. They should pay more attention to the expressions of the following: (Show the following on the PowerPoint.)

Step 4 Interview

有位重要人物会来看我们。此句中，very special是形容词作定语，放在someone的后面。不定代词someone, anyone的定语必须放在它们后面，

4. Ms. Liu has many interests.
在此句中注意Mr., Mrs., Miss.（意为先生、夫人、小姐）三个单词的用法。在西方，婚后的女士随丈夫姓。姓之前用Mrs. Smith。未婚女士姓之前用Miss，意为小姐。如果无法判断她是否结婚，则可称为Ms或Lady（女士）。与女士谈话时，用错Miss和Mrs.，会使女士们很不愉快。7. Walking to school in January.
walking to school动名词短语，作hate的宾语。完整的句子是：Ms. Liu hates walking to school in January. 动名词还可以放在like, enjoy, finish, prefer等词后面。
