语篇研读 ●Lead-in Lead-in 板块作为本课时学习的起点,通过 “Sing and act” 演唱关于情绪的歌曲以及 “Look and say” 看图描述人物感受的活动,激活学生已有的情绪相关知识,营造轻松的学习氛围,自然引入本课时的情绪主题。 ●Presentation 【What】语篇围绕Jim给Mike写的电子邮件展开,Jim在邮件中讲述了在学校的快乐生活,如和朋友一起玩耍、分享想法、共同学习等,但是搬到新家后,他没有朋友而感到悲伤,向Mike寻求帮助。 【Why】语篇传递了情绪表达的重要性,鼓励学生在遇到情绪问题时主动与他人交流、寻求帮助,同时培养学生关心他人情绪、乐于提供帮助的意识。 【How】语篇采用电子邮件的形式,结构清晰,包括称呼、正文和落款。语言简洁明了,运用了本单元的核心词汇,如“happy”“sad”“play with”“share ideas” 等和核心句型,如“I am happy at school.”“I feel sad.” 等,符合五年级学生的语言水平,便于学生理解和学习。

教学重难点 【重点】 1.理解语篇内容,掌握本节课核心词汇和句型。 2.掌握电子邮件的基本格式,能进行简单的邮件读写。 【难点】 1.在真实生活情景中运用所学词汇和句型表达自己的感受并给他人提供合理建议。 2.制作“情绪书”时能准确用英语描述相关内容。
学情分析 五年级学生已经具备了一定的英语基础,对简单的词汇和句型有了一定的积累。在情绪方面,他们对常见的情绪如开心、难过、生气等有一定的认知,但用英语表达情绪以及描述情绪产生的原因和应对方法的能力还比较薄弱。同时,学生对电子邮件的格式可能不太熟悉,需要教师进行引导和讲解。此外,五年级学生活泼好动,喜欢参与互动性强的活动,在教学中可多设计游戏、小组合作等环节提高他们的学习兴趣。

How does Jim feel at school He is ________. What does he do at school He ______,_____, ______ and ______ all day. Why does Jim feel sad Because____________________. 【设计意图】本阶段学习活动旨在听读练习有助于学生掌握正确的语音语调,小组朗读展示能提高学生的口语表达能力。填空练习和表格填写能巩固学生对核心词汇、句型和语篇内容的掌握。写回复邮件能让学生将所学知识运用到实际写作中,提高写作能力。
2. 在读、写活动中学习、理解语篇内容,培养学生用英语思维的能力和初步运用英语交际的能力,使学生能够在生活情景中运用所学词汇和句型,达到进行简单的情感交流与表达建议的目的。(应用实践) 9.学生根据邮件内容填写表格,表格包括 Place、Feeling、Reason 三列,梳理Jim在不同地方的感受及原因。 10.学生思考如何给Jim写回复,提供建议,如 “talk to your parents”“meet new friends and play with them”等。 11.学生根据提示完成 Mike 的回复邮件,教师巡视指导。 教师观察学生是否能正确填写表格,梳理信息的能力得到提升。 教师观察学生是否能写出简单的回复邮件,为Jim提供合理的建议。
【设计意图】通过多种形式的练习,让学生从听、读、写等多方面巩固所学知识,培养学生的语言运用能力。小组合作学习能提高学生的合作意识和沟通能力。

【设计意图】制作 “情绪书” 是对所学知识的迁移运用,能让学生将英语学习与自己的生活实际联系起来,提高运用英语解决实际问题的能力。小组合作和分享活动能培养学生的合作精神和口语表达能力,同时让学生学会关心他人的情绪。
