Step 1
Greet the class and free talk.
The topic is “Jobs.”
Step 2
Design the aims. (Raising the questions)
1. What do you know about people in your neighbourhood?
2. What does she/he look like?
3. What does she/he do?
4. Is he/she young or old?
5. What places did Brian visit?
Step 3
Prepare to answer the questions above by themselves.
Let students read the dialogue and talk about the questions in groups.
Step 4
Act in groups.
Ask for volunteer pairs to act it out in front of the class.
Step 5
Listen to the tape. Play the tape the first time. Students only listen.
Play the tape a second time. This time student can follow it. Then ask some volunteers to read the dialogue and sentences.
