Having seen the film, we had a discussion.

Most of the
boys in my class like playing football. 在这个句子中,most of the
boys是名词词组,in my class是介词词组,like playing football是动词
词组。
all the college students, his new book on phonology, the tall
boy sitting in the corner, the author's new novel that will soon
come out等。
Milton lived in the 17th century.
Sugar dissolves in water.
Honesty is the best policy.
She looks pale.
John arrived last night.
It is getting dark.
She ought to have told him about it.
Joan will certainly object and so will Mary.
He may really have injured innocent people.
We went there to see a film.
Having seen the film, we had a discussion.
Painted by a famous artist, the portrait is invaluable.
The weather is fine today.
The course is pretty difficult.
You are not careful enough.
The weather is too hot to be enjoyable.
He spoke loudly and clearly.
Be a man. Don't act so hesitantly.
She spoke very clearly indeed.
Do you think you can borrow some money from your friend

The student consulted his adviser about the two courses.
