Something that made me happy was winning the piano competition. It was held on September 20th in City Music Hall. On that day, I saw many people there. I was so nervous. I was worried I would make mistakes during my performance. Then I remembered what my father told me--always believe in yourself; you are the best. His words made me feel much better. When it was my turn to play, I walked up to the piano with confidence and performed well. You wouldn't believe how much I wanted to know the result. When I learned won the first prize, I hugged my parents in excitement.
This experience taught me that it is very important to have confidence in yourself.

An Experience that Made Me Sad
There have been a lot of experiences on the road to growth. I still remember the first time I had a fight with my best friend.
Amy and I were in the same class. I was good at basketball while she got better grades at English. In one test, I secretly asked her for the answers, but she refused. I was so angry that I didn't talk to her for the rest of the days. Neither did she. One day after school, she told me that giving me answers wouldn't make my English better and that she would like to help me with my English. I understood her and accepted her help. Then with her help, I have made great progress in English.
It was an unpleasant experience, but it showed me what a true friend is and that can make our friendship stronger.

Smiles
A smile is the most beautiful language of human beings. A smile is like the sunshine in winter. It warms our hearts.① A person who often smiles usually gets good luck and gets on well with others.
② When I was a young boy, I was too shy to speak in public places. One day, I was asked to give a speech in class. I was so nervous that I did badly at the beginning. My Chinese teacher Mrs. Gu encouraged me to believe in myself. When I saw the smile on my teacher's face, I got ③ more and more confidence. I won the first prize at last because of her encouraging smile.(重点背第二段)
Smiles are very helpful in our lives.④ As the saying goes, “A smile makes you ten years younger.” So let's try to smile more.

When in China,Eat as the Chinese Eat
Food is the first necessity of the people. In China, the table manners are different from your country in many ways.
First of all, when you eat dinner with others, it's better to wait for the old to begin eating first. Secondly, you'd better not point at others with chopsticks, which is impolite. Moreover, if you are invited, arrive on time or a few minutes earlier. By the way, you are not expected to give a clock to your friends as a present when you visit them, which means “death” in Chinese. Besides, you can help to clear the table to express your respect and politeness.
In a word, when in China, eat as we Chinese eat! We Chinese people are so hospitable/h sp t bl/热情的 that we will go out of our way to make you feel at home. Have a good trip in China!

I'd like to share my favorite song with you here. It's Xiao Mei Man, which means “Little Happiness” in English. It's a pop song by Zhou Shen. He is a talented singer who is known for his beautiful voice.
Here are the reasons why I like this song. First, the song paints a picture of living freely and accepting each day as it comes without worry. It reminds me to take time to find happiness in the simple things of life. Second, Zhou Shen's voice is so peaceful. It helps me feel relaxed every time I hear it.
If you haven't heard it yet, I think it's time to give it a listen. It might just bring a little happiness to your day!

I still remember what happened between my friend Mike and me.
Two months ago, Mike invited me to go to a concert at seven. I got there on time. I waited for a long time, but Mike didn't show up 出现in the end. I called him and asked him what happened. He said he forgot all about the concert. He was playing computer games at home at that time.
I got angry with Mike because he hurt my feelings. Mike also realized his mistake. He called me several times and said sorry to me. He even sent me a present (gift) to make me happy. Finally I forgave (原谅) him. After forgiving him, I felt relaxed and happy.

Once I tried saying “no’
Every experience is a kind of growth. Today I'd like to share with you my experience of trying saying““no”
In the past, I always felt like I had to agree to everyone's requests even if it meant too much stress for me. But recently, I realized I needed to consider my own needs. Last Friday I turned down an activity I just didn't have the energy for. It was difficult because I was not used to turning people down, but I felt a sense of relief once I did it. Saying “no” taught me that it's important to think about my own needs instead of always pleasing others.
That's my experience of trying saying “no” for the first time. I hope it can encourage you all to challenge yourselves too.
Thank you for listening.
