根据第二段中的“The solution that mindfulness provides is a purposeful and intentional choice. Therefore, you are empowered to choose how to respond to the stimulus(刺激) behind such feelings as boredom, loneliness and stress and not just treat the symptoms(症状).” 故选A。
根据第三段中的“The other key is going through the experience non-judgementally. When you feel sad or angry because of a post on social media, all you ever do is go through the experience and let it flow.”和“These feelings, memories and experiences come and go. After they have passed, you are still you and in control. You will become more aware of your inner world.”
通读全文并结合第一段最后一句“Here two main key points are stressed when it comes to mindfulness as a practice in your digital life.”
根据最后一段“Now, I would rather prefer to think of it as one of many tools that we can use in our daily life.” 故选A。
2.G 根据上一段“Therefore, today I introduce you to a practical tool—the MicroMOVEment Wheel. This tool aims to assist you in overcoming these barriers and help you pick up your journal, even at times when you feel unmotivated.”以及后文“She developed it primarily as a creative planning tool for her writing projects and goals. Although originally targeted at writers, this technique can be used by anyone to complete any project in a fun and creative way.”
根据后文“Here’s how it works: take a blank sheet of paper and draw a large circle, and then another smaller circle in the middle. In the centre circle, write down what you aspire to achieve or what inspires you. Remember, journalling shouldn’t feel like a chore in your day: instead, make it an enjoyable and expressive outlet. So, craft descriptions for your journal entries that are encouraging and energizing.”
4.B 根据上文“…take a blank sheet of paper and draw a large circle, and then another smaller circle in the middle. In the centre circle, write down what you aspire to achieve or what inspires you. Remember, journalling shouldn’t feel like a chore in your day: instead, make it an enjoyable and expressive outlet. So, craft descriptions for your journal entries that are encouraging and energizing.”
5.E 根据上文“By setting aside five minutes out of your day, you could write one word in your notebook that sums up a feeling or an experience.”以及后文“The idea of the MicroMOVEment Wheel is to create easy steps to get your journal writing or writing projects moving.”
根据“…when I came to China.” 故填was listed。
故填an。
故填is。
in a(n)…way表示“以…… 故填in。
故填to master。Unit 9 LEARNING

Digital mindfulness is the application of mindfulness practices in your digital life. According to Jon Kabat-Zinn, a professor at the University of Massachusetts Medicine School, mindfulness is “a means of paying attention in a particular way, on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgementally”. Here two main key points are stressed when it comes to mindfulness as a practice in your digital life.
The first point is that you must learn to do things on purpose. For example, you use your phone as a habitual escape from boredom or stress, which is thought by many as a quick solution to all those negative feelings. But what if you get only negative responses from your phone—the news or posts are negative Instead of finding peace, you find more boredom and more stress. The solution that mindfulness provides is a purposeful and intentional choice. Therefore, you are empowered to choose how to respond to the stimulus (刺激) behind such feelings as boredom, loneliness and stress and not just treat the symptoms (症状).
The other key is going through the experience non-judgementally. When you feel sad or angry because of a post on social media, all you ever do is go through the experience and let it flow. At its heart, mindfulness involves the acceptance of your memories, feelings and thoughts minus any judgement on yourself or others because of those things. These feelings, memories and experiences come and go. After they have passed, you are still you and in control. You will become more aware of your inner world. It’s this internal monologue (独白) that pushes you to grab your digital technologies (phone, Alexa speaker, TV, etc.).
Digital mindfulness is not about avoiding the negative things in life. Through mindfulness practices, you regain the power to learn from these experiences and healthily deal with the negative. Mindfulness will also teach you to be aware of all your emotions, so you learn to deal with the things that you used to avoid. Finally, digital mindfulness brings you peace of mind in an ever-changing and increasingly connected world.
Now, I would rather prefer to think of it as one of many tools that we can use in our daily life.

Recently, I conducted a survey exploring the obstacles preventing people from journalling (写日记). 1. Therefore, today I introduce you to a practical tool—the MicroMOVEment Wheel. This tool aims to assist you in overcoming these barriers and help you pick up your journal, even at times when you feel unmotivated.
2. She developed it primarily as a creative planning tool for her writing projects and goals. Although originally targeted at writers, this technique can be used by anyone to complete any project in a fun and creative way.
3. Here’s how it works: take a blank sheet of paper and draw a large circle, and then another smaller circle in the middle. In the centre circle, write down what you aspire to achieve or what inspires you. Remember, journalling shouldn’t feel like a chore in your day: instead, make it an enjoyable and expressive outlet. So, craft descriptions for your journal entries that are encouraging and energizing. 4. These are what SARK refers to as the MicroMOVEment Wheels. Each MicroMOVEment Wheel is five minutes in length. So, in the case of journalling, that would represent a minimum of up to five minutes of journalling in one sitting, on any given day.
Now, imagine you’re new to journalling. By setting aside five minutes out of your day, you could write one word in your notebook that sums up a feeling or an experience. 5. The idea of the MicroMOVEment Wheel is to create easy steps to get your journal writing or writing projects moving. By keeping the steps concise, they become doable and achievable.
A.There are no fixed rules when it comes to journalling.
B.Next, divide the remaining circle into eight equal parts.
C.Daily tasks such as sweeping and washing are tiring and time-consuming.
D.Among the top responses were confusion about where to start and a lack of time.
E.Then, list any associated words, images or thoughts that are generated by the word.
F.The essence of this method lies in breaking down your actions into the smallest steps.
G.The MicroMOVEment Wheel was created by the international best-selling author, SARK.
