（1）元音字母a：
在重读开音节中，元音字母a 通常发其字母名称音，即/e / 的音。
发音方法：发音时，先发/e/ 音，然后滑向/ / 音，双唇稍扁，口形从半开到合。
例词： name, take, late, date

（2）元音字母e：
在重读开音节中，元音字母e通常发/i /的音。
发音方法：发音时，舌尖抵下齿，舌前部尽量向上颚抬起。嘴唇向两旁伸开，成扁平形。注意一定要把音发足。

（3）元音字母i：
在重读开音节中，元音字母i 通常发/a / 的音。
发音方法：发音时，先发/ɑ / 音，然后滑向/ / 音。舌尖抵住下齿。发此音的关键是要把/ɑ / 音发足，注意从开到合的滑动。
例词： write, like, kite

（4）元音字母o：
在重读开音节中，元音字母o 通常发/ / 的音。
发音方法：发音时，由不圆唇的/ / 滑向圆唇的/ /。舌位由半低到高，口形由半开收圆。注意将音发足。

（5）元音字母u：
在重读开音节中, 元音字母u 通常发/ju / 的音。但是要注意, 当u 位于辅音字母j, l, r, s 后时, 它发/u / 的音。
发音方法：这个/ju /音, 是/j/ 音和/u / 音的结合，发音时舌前部向硬腭尽量抬起, 舌位较高, 双唇伸展成扁平状, 声带振动, 发音瞬间即滑向后面的元音/u /, 即后面将舌后部抬起, 双唇收圆并突出。
例词： use, cute, rule, blue, glue, June, Sue

拓展：重读开音节
⑴重读音节
重读音节指的是单词中读音特别响亮的音节。用音标标记双音节、多音节词的读音时，应使用重读符号。单音节词多数是重读音节，标记读音时不需要使用重读符号。
⑵开音节
开音节分两种，一种叫绝对开音节，一种叫相对开音节。
① 绝对开音节：单个元音字母后面没有辅音字母的重读音节。例如：no, blue，hi，we，so 等。
② 相对开音节：单个元音字母后面加单个辅音字母，再加一个不发音字母e 构成的重读音节。例如：name，these，bike，home，excuse 等。
⑶元音字母在重读开音节中的发音规则：
在重读的开音节中元音字母按字母名称发音。
